  2. Wolfbox Video - 1st Impressions

I think I went to high school with the guys that own that car...
  3. Wolfbox Video - 1st Impressions

1 thing I've noticed, after almost a week of driving around with the Wolfbox attached, is the vibration. The mirror vibrates quite a bit while driving. The articulation joints on the mounting arm seem a little loose. After all cameras are connected, I'm going to tryn tighten those joints up...
  4. Wolfbox Video - 1st Impressions

Nope. I was really hoping I could find a 5-Pin Rear 2k Cam that would fit the in OEM 3rd Brake Light,,, rather than pay $685 to Ford for a new one. I could deal with the Morimoto light if I could put it all together for less than $300.
  5. Wolfbox Video - 1st Impressions

Yup... This looks like a future add-on when I'm allowed to spend money again. Not until AFTER my "Parts Pile" is completely gone / installed... https://clearvucam.com/store/p/wolfbox-g900pro
  6. Wolfbox Video - 1st Impressions

I think I'm going to mount the front cam under the front license plate bracket. I'll be able to aim it straight forward for daily use and angle it down for off-roading. The only extra you really need to install this unit is the Hex Adapter for $20. So,,, $370 total. -tell the kids you'll...
  7. Wolfbox Video - 1st Impressions

I'm scrapping the 3rd Brake Light plan... I thought something was fishy about it. All the ads for that product bragged about the lights, but made virtually no mention of the camera. I'd think they would list all the attributes of the camera as a major selling point. That's because...
  8. New to the site...

Thx... I just went in and tossed out all the old pics that show parts I no longer use,,, uploaded the newer pics,,, and posted a few videos.
  9. Wolfbox Video - 1st Impressions

I'm only 1/2 way done with the installation of my new Wolfbox G900 Tri-Pro... I reached the limits of my talent so it's time to hand the rest off to my installer. I'm paying him to run the camera wires through the firewall. So far,,, the front cam is awesome. Until I get the rear cam...
  10. New to the site...

Oh Hell Yes ! I was terrified when I saw everything that came in the box. I had my mechanic lined up to do the install. Then his wife had a baby. So,,, I had to nut up and do it myself. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I did it while watching the install video on YouTube. 3...
  11. Spray-in + Drop-in: Power move or overkill? Vote & win gear.🔥🔥😎

My 1st Ranger ('85) didn't have a liner so my dad took me to Tractor Supply and bought me one. That was my very 1st truck mod. We were in his F-150. It flew out of the bed on the expressway on the way home. So, I got to ride in the bed of the truck the rest of the way home to hold it down...
  12. Recommended Dash / Rear Cam for 2024 Ranger XLT

I use a Cobra SC220c Dash Cam. https://www.cobra.com/products/sc-220c?srsltid=AfmBOopnmB__KwwYa3dr2MoJR3LEOqkN_a8oBavZyy4cyuWBfZviRB7_ It was my 1st and I like it a lot. I had a mechanic help me choose which fuses to tap. I ran the wires up the A-pillar and under the headliner. Then, I...
  13. Winter is coming! How do you clear the snow on your vehicle??

That's how I did it back in the day... I used a bag of concrete (wrapped in a plastic garbage bag) to hold it down. Otherwise,,, it would bang around and smash up all my fishing gear.
  14. Ranger got new Shoes today

Yup... ATRs. They held up really well. The sidewalls were a little too tall for my driving style but I could still fling it around pretty good. I never found the limits of those tires because the Chevy they were attached to was such a POS. I never took them off road but I wanted the ATRs...
  15. Winter is coming! How do you clear the snow on your vehicle??

Nope ! My joints are all trashed. I can handle 110⁰. I cannot handle any temp below 65⁰. The knees, ankles, shoulders, hands, and neck all stop working at 65⁰ and below.
  16. Rodent nest plus dog food HVAC help

The trick is prevention. Stop the rodents before they ever get near your truck. The solution: Domesticated Bobcats ! We had 4-6 cats that lived in our barn when I was a kid. Zero rodents.
  17. Spray-in + Drop-in: Power move or overkill? Vote & win gear.🔥🔥😎

My OEM knees are about to get swapped out for bionic ones so I don't kneel any more. That being said,,, I have kneeled in the bed of my truck and it sucks / hurts. A bed mat would have been greatly appreciated at that moment.
  18. Winter is coming! How do you clear the snow on your vehicle??

It's fun to play in but I grew up in the cold and I'm over it... 18 years in South Texas and I've only seen snow 2x's. Thank God.
