I was thinking along the lines if old school HO track cars. I think identical cars is fair, an important part missing for ne is the shifting. But you're right, it does highlight skill level. That's why I love the road courses better than oval track, regardless of car type.
Just got back from a walk and turned on tv, on CBS, they are showing FIA Formula E racing. I could get used to the body styling, as this has always changed over time. Having trouble with listening to the whining of the powerplant though...
Always flat on garage floor. No jacking up, seems like plenty of room for me to slide under on a piece of cardboard. Even the filter, I just turn the wheel and I have plenty of room to work.
Since I'm in no hurry, I do let it drain for a bit, every last drop, so to speak...
Damn that's steep. I think I paid $38k including tax, registration etc back in April 2020 for my 2019 lariat. A 2020 was only $2000 more.
Saved $2k, no deleted parts, and problem free...
Funny you should say that, in early 80's, not much traffic at all, and a friend was roller blading home from a bar, using all lanes. Yep, busted...
not a DUI, not sure there was any laws like that, but some other charge.
People in general have trouble sharing anything lately. Common sense isn't so common, courtesy is being taken over by entitlement. On shared rail to trail areas, while using to get to more technical riding, I've been told to go ride on the road, and many other "suggestions" after voicing with my...
yes, I fall into that group of not liking cyclists who are not courteous etc. Not sure of laws here or anywhere, but common sense says if you can't maintain minimum speeds as law requires, you should yield. Not many safe places to pass on these winding roads.
There used to be a gravel bike race here in the NEK. A real big deal, called Rasputista. Look it up for details on accident. Basically, it is a 25, 70 or 100 mile race through a couple of small towns in this mountain biking mecca. It encompasses paved and dirt roads. 2022 was the last, too many...
I used to bike a lot in the 70's and early 80's. Then it became dangerous, even though a bike has been given the same right to use the road as a car. That is when I switched to mountain biking, or staying on side streets with little to no traffic. Same reason I stopped riding motorcycles...
I remember 3 wheeling in the Glastonbury Meadows one spring. It's an area where the CT river floods, leaving large mudholes etc for weeks. Came across a youngster with a full sized stock Chevy, in a shallow, small, mud puddle stuck. Trying to get out by sticking styrofoan under his tire, all the...
We live in the line of totality, so no travel necessary. Living on an eastern ridge gives up an unobstructed view of the horizon as well. Hoping for clear skies...
FordPass has been "free" to me since I bought truck. After spending 20+ minutes trying to navigate around the phone app, I see nowhere to opt out of anything. I did see opt out of selling personal info, but it was only for a handful of states, mine not one of them. If anyone has instructions on...
Nobody has asked yet so... Why do you feel you need to replace struts with mostly street/highway driving? Not sure struts would ever have to be replaced with that driving. Maybe over 100k
2019 lariat, 43k, no battery issue warning signs, although I thought the auto stop/start had an issue. Turns out it was very cold and defroster on. Once I turned it to feet, auto SS started working.
Went onto FordPass, running battery specials. 1000ca for $149, Beats the $300+ I've seen at parts...
