  1. New Sheriff in Town!

It was a joke of course. But in case you are interested you are averaging 3.3 :like:
  2. New Sheriff in Town!

You've certainly done a good job trying to catch up. I think the last time we discussed this you were averaging around 1.8 reaction points per post. Now you are just above 2. Dave is at 3.6 now. That's close to Phil numbers. :p
  3. New Sheriff in Town!

My path to becoming a Ranger5g moderator: 1: Start promoting an accessory real men and women don't need in every thread possible. 2: Order a vehicle that is not a Ford. 3: Profit. Just kidding of course. :) Dave I've always appreciated your contributions to this forum. You are not...
  4. My New Ranger Ride

Good choice for your first new truck. I'm sure you will enjoy it.
  5. FORD Bed logo under the bedliner

Probably doesn't really help you much but here is another thread where the question was asked. Looks like they could not find what you are looking for: https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/ford-logo-in-the-bed.1714/
  6. Dealership adjusted my tire pressure.

I don't think it is necessarily them being cheap. I think it is more bad prep before handing over the keys. Mine also had almost no washer fluid and there have been others here mention the same, just like the over inflated tires.
  7. Dealership adjusted my tire pressure.

Maybe they got confused and thought you just bought the truck since it seems many of us received ours with over inflated tires. Better check the washer fluid too. They might have drained it. :p
  8. Forscan; disable enhanced engine noise.

The search function here leaves a lot to be desired. I've found it easier to do a Google search using "ranger5g.com" and then the search term I'm looking for. Anyway if you are talking about the fake engine noise thing here are some threads I found...
  9. How To Lubricate Your Driveshaft Slip Joint

Thanks for the video. I have the thunk on my Ranger but it looks like the fix is more than I would be comfortable doing on my own. If I take it to the dealer and they tell me they don't know why it is happening I'll reference this video.
  10. How to keep a Bronco on the Lot

Haha. A bit off topic but that was one thing I liked when I bought a used VW back in 2014. They gave me free oil changes for life. No gimmicky reward point thing attached to a phone app. Just bring it in when it's due and get a free oil change. They didn't even tell me about that as a...
  11. Ford points

I use mine for oil changes. Regarding points expiring, they only expire if you don't use any of them or earn more by the deadline. https://www.ford.com/support/how-tos/fordpass/fordpass-rewards/fordpass-rewards-frequently-asked-questions/ So as long as you use at least some before the...
  12. Auto Start/Stop doesn't work anymore

Thanks for your post. When using the maintainer I make sure the negative is clipped to a ground on the body and not on the negative post of the battery. From what I was told in a thread where I asked about that it would help make sure the BMS learns that it is charged. As stated earlier...
  13. Auto Start/Stop doesn't work anymore

Yeah I have seen posts here regarding that. But I guess I'm still a bit confused. If I had it on the maintainer for days, took it off and AS/ST worked for that 1 hour drive then why would it not work the next day? Is my battery really getting drained that much the few times the AS/ST kicked...
  14. Auto Start/Stop doesn't work anymore

Yeah I would suggest doing that. I'm going to be doing the same thing. I have not been driving much recently so I bought a battery maintainer. I was also getting messages that things were shut down due to low charge. Even after using the maintainer and having it plugged in for a few days...
  15. Here she is!

Congrats on your new Ranger. I'm sure you will enjoy it.
  16. Just what we needed!

From what I understand the mandate is for manufacturers to find and develop technology to limit drunk driving as well as inattentive driving with a plan for said technology to be required in 2026. What they are looking at is passive systems and not built in breathalyzers that you have to blow...
  17. Rigid molle panel installed on...

Your first response when people disagreed was to post a video of a crash test and telling people they are talking out their ass. I have no idea if what you want to do would work and be safe. But it seems to me you already came to the conclusion you wanted before you even posted the question...
  18. Rigid molle panel installed on...

No offense but it seems you already made up your mind before you even started this thread. I'm basing that given you posted the crash test video shortly after people challenged your idea. Then when more people disagreed you got testy about it as seen above. It's your Ranger do what you want...
  19. 2019 Ford Ranger Gas Mileage

I got curious after reading that post and did some Google research. It appears to be a copy and paste from this post made in 2019 on another forum: https://www.fordranger.net/threads/2019-ford-ranger-mpg.8528/ Given that the post above was this person's first post here it does seem rather odd.
  20. Ignition Ring

Here you go. https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/deans-3d-printed-ignition-trim-ring-bezel-build-buy-thread.4351/ I bought one from him and many others have as well. It fits great.
