Not in to naming vehicles but tried to think of a few if I did:
Truck Norris
Well, that's all I could come up with. Like I said not really my thing. :)
Haha, me too like I said it was my first mod. Only wanted to ask because I've seen a few posts recently where people said they had no antenna at all only to find them in the glove box. Welcome to the stubby club. :)
Welcome and I am sure you will love your new Ranger.
Looks like the factory antenna is not installed. Did you take it off? If not check your glove box, some people have reported finding them there. If you don't like the large factory antenna you can get a 2 or 4 inch one from CravenSpeed...
I'll admit it took me a few pages reading this thread to figure out the whole CEO thing. I was like, "Why does this guy keep going to his boss asking about a truck and what to get? Is the CEO in charge of a company vehicle or something?" ?
Sorry didn't mean to totally derail this thread. As some may have noticed I like to joke around at times. When I do it isn't personal, just having a bit of fun. :)
Welcome and I'm sure you will enjoy your new Ranger. Very nice pictures.
I'm going to be lazy and just copy and paste something I posted in another new member thread in case you want to start spending a little more money to get you started. :)
Question, I'm pretty sure my Line-X was just the standard because I had the dealer include it as part of my deal. If I want to add UV protection later is that something that can be done after the fact?
It still looks brand new and I keep it in my garage when I'm home. But if it is going to...
Looks like 2 inches from the edge of the tail light to the outside part of the "4". On the other side I measure 2 1/8 inches to the outside of the "F" . So I guess mine are just a bit off.
Yeah I have WeatherTech in the back also. I like that it covers all of the back floor but like you the edges don't fit very snug and bend up. I think maybe I need to bend on it a bit more in the opposite direction and maybe heat them up with a hair dryer and try to get them to fit better.
Glad to help. Of course I got the info above from all the helpful people here so I can't take full credit for it. Also I forgot to add, with the night light make sure you don't get one with a sensor. The one I linked is probably the way to go.
I also forgot to add the much debated tailgate...
Welcome and I'm sure you will enjoy your new Ranger.
A couple of low cost things you might want to consider to get you started on spending. :)
The Stubby Jr. 2 inch antenna if you don't like the large factory antenna.

Get these, plug one in to the 110 volt outlet in the back. Never have to deal with it again for only a few dollars.

I was hell bent on just turning it off manually each time I started the truck. Then I got tired of it and also didn't want to wear out...
Interesting. I wonder if it was a cost cutting change, a supply issue, or just a design change? For all those people that have removed it hope they kept it in a drawer or something. There might be a market on eBay for newer Ranger buyers that want them. Not that they would be worth a lot but...
