Hahaha thatās the beautify of HF. You get to feel that adrenaline rush every time you use it!
By the way your truck looks awesome! When I was doing my lift I contemplated going your route but I feel like it would actually be more of a struggle to do.
Yeah that's the one. Mine came in a Rough Country package with their instructions. "Easy Bolt On", I guess that depends on your definition of easy lol. If you have a shop press then it'll make the job 200% easier. It's pretty straight forward and it only took me a couple of hours to complete...
Iād love to watch someone tow 7,500lbs with that 3.6 Chrysler turd. Look, Iāve had so many Jeeps itās not even practical. I love them, but Iād be the first to say never take their towing capacity seriously. 260 torque? My 2 door hatchback nearly has that doubled.
Just a heads up, Iāll be getting a dyno for my truck next week. 91 octane with stock filter stock exhaust then with K&N filter and aftermarket exhaust. Iāll post again once I get the results.
When I was doing mine I considered removing the lower control arm, I decided I didnt want to go that route, it actually seemed like it might have been more of a hassle.
I probably wouldnāt worry about it too much. If you get the chance you can scan the OBD and see if it has a stored code, otherwise Iād only be concerned if it comes back.
Thin Blue Line would be cool, too many haters out there though. Especially around LA . Not worth a broken window or keyed up paint. I'd rather sport a KMA 367 plate frame or sticker. Most people don't know what that is.
Just an update, I was able to finish the install. I purchased a shop press. Presto! Use the right tools and life is easy lol. Now I drastically need an alignment. Got some unsightly positive camber lol.
