You know, I was told that cigars will keep indefintely in a humidor. Not sure how much truth there is to that, but every once in a while I enjoy one and they seem to smoke just fine.
7,000 miles and your brakes are already making noise?!?! That is excessive, even for Ford trucks which are notorious for having short-lived brakes. I don't know what the owner's manual says, but every Ranger and F-150 I've owned need brakes at around the 30,000 mile mark.
I received a humidor with about 20 different cigars as a wedding gift. Six years later, I've smoked maybe five of them.
However with my love of whisky, (ryes and single malts are my favs) I suppose I should partake more often.
I have a friend in the PDX area that recently picked up a leftover brand new '19 Lariat 501a and paid around $36k at a dealer in Eastern OR. Yes it's an "I know a guy" story, but I can confirm as I was looking at the truck myself before I told him about it. So your price is comparable.

My wife insists on having PremiumCare and the maintenance package on her car. She likes the peace of mind, and I don't want to have to work on her car.
For the Ranger I'll do the maintenance myself. Like the rest of you all I don't trust that anyone is doing it right.
Totally agree. I've always enjoyed the exhaust sound for almost every vehicle I've owned...except the four bangers. The only time it sounds OK is in a sport bike. And in a Civic/Focus etc., I still don't care for it but at least it's expected. I don't want my 4x4 sounding like a rice rocket.
Yeah. That's the kind of crap you get in some of these nanny states. Nurse Ratched walks you out to the car and checks your setup. If she doesn't like it, you don't take your kid home. While well intentioned, I pity the foo that tells me I can't take my baby home because she doesn't like what...
Gee I added the $495 option to my upcoming build thinking it would be worth it. I wonder if I should remove it from the order and figure out a different solution.
As much as I wanted leather and the B&O system and all the other options, I seriously considered ordering an XLT just because of the dash. I hate the electronic dash and love the analog gauges. I finally gave up the fight. As someone else commented earlier, I'll get a sports car if I want analog...
Spent my first 40 years in CA before joining the exodus and moving to AZ this year. Woo hoo! Finally, it was beginning to feel like it would never happen.
If you're referring to the dealer I think you're referring to, I'm not surprised. We recently traded our Escape in for a certified '17 Edge Sport w/ 31k miles. We were quoted ~$5500 for Premium Care ESP w/ maintenance.
Flood Ford sells the same exact coverage for ~$2600. So, yeah...
