It's an option you can have on or off when you use your hazards. When on it will pulse the brakes when the hazards blink.

I think the Ranger does an awesome job towing overall but with the weight I pull (5500-6000lb TT) there are times I feel a bit more torque would be nice. I can't help wondering if the ford performance or similar tune would help out in certain scenarios.
For instance, when towing on flat land...
Curious to see how you guys with sumos or timbrens still like them. I've never messed with my suspension before but since I tow close to max payload and tongue weight I figure installing aftermarket springs might help stability and suspension longevity.
I'm close to buying the sumo springs but...
We love it. We also almost bought the 2075 instead of the 1985 but the large bathroom, kitchen (gf wanted an oven and more counter space), the huge room created with the slide, the TV location and the fact that the 2075 was a brand new model, was enough to pull the trigger on the 1985. We like...
My guess is you're looking at a Lance 2075 model. We are full-timing in a 2021 1985 Lance and it feels very comfortable. Just stayed in the middle of Utah at 9032' elevation which had a short 8% grade near the top and it downshifted to 4000RPM's holding 55mph which was impressive to me. It...
I was just quoted $330 for the Ford TBC and a whopping $600  for install (3hrs labor) in Petaluma (northern CA). I guess I'll have to call around or road trip to southern CA where people here have been quoting $180 or less for the install
It's been good, it has worked as advertised and had no bluetooth disconnects while the ignition/engine is on. I haven't had to use the manual braking yet but I test it out before most trips to make sure it's working.
I once connected the Curt to the trailer 7 way first on accident, before...
Funny you ask that, just yesterday I had my first. Had to brake quickly going downhill at 55mph on a turn off around a bend that came up sooner than anticipated and I was pleasantly surprised by the strong braking it had. I didn't fully stomp on them but was close. I feel confident now knowing...
Another thing to think about is the max tongue weight of the Ranger. It's 750lbs and if you use a weight distribution hitch with it, those can weigh around 100lbs. With that dry hitch weight you'd be at max without loading a thing into the trailer.
I tow a 23' x 8' 6000lb loaded trailer right...
