My husband works at the dealer so when it arrived off the truck they did the pdi and noticed the damaged. It’s forsure damage straight from factory , maybe some in transit like the bumper.

My husband compromises as well, but this is why he doesn’t listen (dog, not husband, well sometimes LOL). I have a Airedale terrier who once he’s shown 1 thing, he never forgets and thinks it’s ok lol.
I will say the cover I got is actually not as ugly...

Thank you. Maybe if times were different my attitude would be different but we are put in a position where all I can do is hope the fixes all goes right lol. I mainly came on here to complain and see who has had similar issues or give others knowledge to inspect everything and document.

It’s a shit time to try and find another vehicle. I’m also very fortunate aside from my husband working there, I have a childhood friend whos basically family also a mechanic there so pretty covered in that sense.

This is how I feel but then there’s the worry of not having a vehicle at all since you can’t get anything right now and I already sold my SUV. My dealer won’t do anything other then fix it and god knows how long that will take. I’ll need to look into the stipulations on what you can return etc...
Found 3 more issues last night.
-More scratches paint issue on bumper right underneath the grille (not huge issue as I’m getting a replacement bumper due to it being warped).

Exactly, the work from factory is what makes me shocked since the lack of work ethic is clearly shown. Just not sure how it passes a quality check lol

Ive heard great things about these trucks and I had a sport trac before that I lifted and I loved that thing so as long as everything else mechanically is good then I’ll be happy with this ranger forsure.
i was shocked with the camera quality. It’s god awful. My 2016 Edge was crystal clear and this looks like it’s from 2004.

I do have some positives about the vehicle so I’m not just being a negative Nancy over here haha but the ride quality I find is absolutely amazing. Very comfortable compared to my edge I had (I upgraded to 20” wheels so that probably didn’t help).
I don’t have a copy of the damages but I’m not super worried, my husband is a mechanic there lol I’m just worried after it goes to body shop to get fixed, that down the line it’ll cause issues in those spots again(basically worried for no reason other then it can happen again lol).
That’s awful, but I guess they think because people want their vehicles, anything will do lol.
Now all I can think of is what else am I not seeing…
I’m disappointed in the quality of things as well to be honest and if the vehicle arrived without these issues I probably would be somewhat okay...
