Hey everyone, does anyone here have a spare set of wheels and or tires I can borrow? Someone just stole the wheels/tires off my truck and it’s up on jack stands.
Please let me know ASAP.
Thank you.
Anytime I’m off road it responds within seconds of the change. I’m not sure if it’s speed based and if you are going faster it will average differently than going slowly. As I backed up that slope it changed while I was moving. No real delay.
I use the gauge to level the truck when setting up...
Went out on a pretty spicy trail. Guy in a wrangler sport was stuck on these stair steps so we had to trail build to get him out.
Had to park on the side of a rather steep section to get him past us. Wife was a bit uncomfortable sitting at a 28* angle on a rocky slope. Hah.
It’s the Rhino Rack pioneer platform with the backbone mount. Works really well for the rough trails and I can stand on it while loading the kayak. Really sturdy setup and the kayak clears my roof tent which was what I needed most.
Yeah I’m trying to decide on new exhaust all together now and probably the ARB number with the tubes to keep it from happening again. Probably going to have a body shop straighten the dent out too.
Well I did the trail installed clearance mod to that section of the truck this weekend on Pearl Pass. Didn’t even hear it or realize I smashed it until the next day. The stupid dual exhaust tips is the reason I’m sure. So now I’m looking for a bumper with some bars to slide on and single tip...
Once I got over the initial fear of drilling into a new truck I went for the roof rack. Glad I did because it’s allowed me to take a ton of gear into some amazing places.
Really want to know more about the six switches. Most likely will be an integrated harness that we won’t be able to change or install.
Having changed my rear leaf pack to the OME set I can definitely agree the multi leaf pack will make a big improvement.
I think it turned out really well haha. That kinda tree size and hand tools is a daunting challenge. Milwaukee just came out with a little 8” hand chainsaw that is tempting to keep in the tool box now. Considering the only option in some places is to stay trapped in by trees.
I took the truck out on some mining roads and did the alpine loop. Hiked up to 13,500ft to check out some old mines as well. The truck did fantastic as always and continues to impress me as to what it can do.
Wow that’s incredible! I stopped brining my chainsaw since it’s really dry here too with fire bans. Now I’m considering keeping a hand saw on the truck at least. Nice work!
Truck is looking great John! I just got back from doing the alpine loop and running a few off the path mine trails. Definitely too many side by sides to drive the loop mid day and enjoy it.
Lookin good!! I love the sound of my borla/FP exhaust. Just enough volume and tone without being annoying. Sounds really nice on a a high rev downshift.
