Awesome! I did the same thing , i ran the wires from a hole in the bed to a grommet under the truck and inside the cabin by the left passenger seat It was my first time so i had some wiring struggle but it works great !!

Did you have to pop the fascia off or can you get back there another way? The oem wiring you just tucked aside to run your own?

That looks great ! Is there a fuse that would work if i ran a wire directly to it to function as the cargo light would? I’m wondering if I’m over thinking it, and running to a fuse box would keep me from splicing anything and get the same result?

Does anyone know if these lights would would with bed lights if tapped? They seem to function the same as cargo lights (on when unlock, when open door) Just a thought for an easy Solution to use as cargo lights , They may even turn on with the cabin switch?

If i purchase the wiring harness and not the socket assembly , would i technically be able to cut the harness and use the live wiring to tap directly to the lights and switch? Side note: i ordered the harness but no socket as i have no intention on using the 12v Can you describe the splicing...

Would something like this work to “T” off the cargo wire without cutting/splicing? I plan on doing this install in a few days , Going to run some rock lights to bed and also run 2 under each running board , hopefully all split right off that cargo circuit for complete courtesy light rig
