When I bought my 2020 last September I logged into my Ford Owner's account and checked for updates. It said I had both a Sync update and a free map update. Downloaded both to two USB sticks and installed them. The map update took over an hour.
Need to use ForScan to make the change permanent. Look for the ForScan threads in the Electronics section of this forum.

I ordered one back in the middle of February. Still being told it's backordered. It was too cold out to install but now that it is warming up it would be nice to have.
Yeah, mine also doesn't work with me in the seat. Had to adjust, get in, get out, adjust again until it was right. Once done tho, no need to change it unless you have multiple drivers messing with it.
In below freezing weather, mine get stuck on after a car wash. I keep a blow dryer in the garage and dry the sensors for 5-10 minutes. This takes care of it. Will be talking to the dealer when I go in for the first oil change.
Thanks. Looking at the gloss black version to go with the gloss black appearance package my Ranger has.

Depends on the tune supplier. Livernois gives you 5 tunes.
1. 91-93 octane performance tune.
2. 91-93 octane soft shift tune.
3. 87-89 octane performance tune.
4. 87-89 octane soft shift tune.
5. A tow tune.
I realize this is a Ford Performance tune thread. Just showing other options.
Mine also does this after a car wash and below freezing temps. No obvious ice on sensors. I used a blow dryer on the sensor for 5-10 minutes and it goes away. Comes back after next wash. Going to contact dealer and see what the say. It's pretty annoying.
