2020 Ranger, no problems until 59640 when the transmission went wacko. I hate service work because something always happens. I change my own oil.
I take the vehicle in to the best Ford dealer in my area which happens to be Auto Nation Ford. It's 30 miles one way. They replaced the transmission...
The transmission let go in my 2020 at 59640 miles. Shifting problems at steady speed between 25 and 55mph. Worse at lower speeds. Replaced under Power Train warranty, going to pick it up this morning.
No problems until 59640 miles - 2020 built in Dec 2020. The transmission failed, being replaced under power train warranty. Took it in on Tuesday and suppose to be back to me next Tuesday.
I have been looking for Black. All of them see to interfere with the parking sensors and ACC. You have to look in the ratings most of the time to discover this as they don't tell you.
The wheelbase on your tow vehicle has a lot to do with camper handling. 25 foot it too much camper. Even with the shorter camper, you will need an anti-sway hitch such as the equalizer brand hitch.
There is only one model that will work with ACC or automatic braking if you have that option and it is a model of the REDARC. The Prodigy brake controller is good but won't support those options. The Redarc that works with the ACC and automatic braking has a third wire that hooks to your third...
I have both. I use google maps in satellite mode which displays roads over terrain. It's just a lot more detailed. It also keeps track of my history so it makes filling out monthly expense reports a breeze.
Having towed campers for about 20 years with SUV's and trucks, the longer the camper, the longer wheelbase of the tow vehicle comes into play and 29 foot is too much for a rangers short wheelbase.
The Micro Minnie 2108DS would be max I would try to get down the road safely.
I would not put...
Took the trampoline ride out of my Ranger. Best upgrade I have done and was $230. Compressing them was a Pita, but after a couple of hours experimenting, I put a big wire tie around the neck and used a tie down strap to get them to the pre-measured spot, put them in place and took off the tie down.
My Ranger Lariet came with LED's, apparently they are a little too bright as I get flashed at least once a night. Unless your floating with cash, check out these replacements. Properly adjusted they achieve great results. I had them in my 2018 Civic SI. Get the $89 or $99 bulbs. When installed...
I am getting about 22 1/2 MPG on my 4WD ranger Lariet with about 9500 miles on it. I have a Tonneau cover on it which might be helping. I just put some Eibach Pro-Truck Sport Shock Single Rear For Lifted Suspensions 0-1.5" E60-35-048-01-01 on it and that has been the best purchase so far.
