@SRAces tires look great (perfect, actually), black, and not shiny!
When I see glossy tires, I think, "what's the point of that?" Were tires glossy like that when they came from the tire factory, or when installed by Ford? Nope. Nine times out of ten, when the tires are glossy, there's crap...
That's an HPR (referring to the Ranger in the video); RR is a non-metallic, I think. The BAP HPR looks good!
14 August: Just now noticed the pics of the "prototype" RR; it looks good, but prefer the HPR over RR.
RIP HPR! :crying:
Looks like a case of wrong place, wrong time, coupled with an unfortunate lady who thinks she can lie her way out of admitting fault. Glad to hear you're OK; sorry about your truck.
For those of us who didn't order, but bought off of a lot from dealer stock, is there a way to determine the actual production date (day of the month)?

Or pound a large screwdriver through the middle of it from above (not sure if feasible) as close to the filter boss as possible and loosen it that way; take the wheel off to improve leverage. This is all notional since I haven't poked around in there yet.
I had similar issue with RAV4 filter years back. I now let the engine run for a little bit before trying to remove the filter. I attempt to loosen the filter prior to draining the oil. That way, if I have to drive to a quick-lube place to get them to loosen the filter (they did it for free...
