Lariats have LED 3rd brake lights already. AFAIK, the only incandescent bulbs in the Lariat are side markers (including side mirror indicators) and license plate bulbs.

Couldn't I achieve the same results just by depressing the gas pedal further? From what I gather these throttle controllers do not actually speed up the signal to the ECU, but merely increase the voltage as if the pedal was being depressed greater than actual.

I can confirm that this fix works as advertised! Speedometer and GPS speed matchup perfectly. I can also confirm that it's throwing a code. I switched from 0934 to 09DC. It's a small compromise to get a properly working speedometer and accurate milage.
