  1. This truck is getting to me…

It really isn’t a good time to trade though… interest rates are through the roof! And a truck like what I have from a competitor is going on 10k more! I got my truck for $40,800CAN +Tax and I’ve got a couple more years and it’s paid for at 2% interest. 90% of the work that’s been done to this...
  2. This truck is getting to me…

I think some people are confusing kilometers with miles.. 91,000km is nothing. I still have 9000 of warranty left…
  3. This truck is getting to me…

I think some people are getting offended and thinking I’m trash talking the truck.. the truck has never been abused either. I off road it, but I’m not doing anything insane… mostly gravel and wash out roads. Light mud. Anyways, Ford got back to me today, and they won’t cover the passenger...
  4. This truck is getting to me…

Not the case my friend. You’d never know it was off road. And 70,000km of that 90,000 is all highway…
  5. This truck is getting to me…

Cavalcade Ford in Bracebridge. I don’t go there anymore. Lol
  6. This truck is getting to me…

The thing is, I don’t want to toss it… this truck is perfect for what I need in a vehicle. Everyone could use something bigger especially me, but I don’t want to deal with bigger I own quite a bit of property that I like to access through some shitty roads and this truck has been superior to...
  7. This truck is getting to me…

I’ve got a 2021 XLT.. it’s got 91,000km… between the stupid things going wrong with the truck, and my experience thus far with Ford service has me wanting to trade up… I love the truck. But I don’t want to pay to fix things once I’m out of warranty. (Bought extended bumper to bumper to match...
  8. D window steelies (16/17") with aggressive tires?

Here is my truck with the 16” factory steelie setup. Tires are Cooper Rugged Treks in 265/70R16. Rangers don’t come with steel wheels in Canada, so I had to order the wheels and hub caps… Not a fan of alloy wheels or anything over a 17”… I off-road my truck… Steels are much better for that...
  9. Muffler Hair SOS

The packing could be out of the muffler. It has a wrap of it in there
  10. Tire Shake While Braking

You need rear pads and rotors…
  11. The research begins

What makes you want to stick with Ford? I had a 2017 Tacoma. It was a horrible truck. This XLT Ranger I have is much better in a lot of ways. I find it to be much better off road.. and I don’t have to put it in 4L to use the diff lock…
  12. The research begins

I drove a new Tundra about 600km in one day for work If you’re wanting spend some big bucks, that’s a nice truck. Lots of power out of the new twin turbo motor
  13. Topper Shell

Bestop supertop 2 on my 2nd winter and it’s held up very well
  14. my first tire rotation

I’m pretty sure you need to do a relearn from my experience. The tires are programmed to their location. You can buy a cheap tpms learn tool on Amazon. Mine was $20. I also have 2 sets of tires so that mostly why I bought it
  15. my first tire rotation

Get yourself a tread depth gauge. Try and keep the tires within 1/32 of each other. The rear will wear down quicker, when they are 1/32 less than the front… rotate… brake services are important as well. I do mine quite often because I offered my truck.. if you don’t off road, once in the spring...
  16. I finally cut open the OEM muffler!

The flapper is there to control drone at low Rpm. GM also does this on their trucks with active fuel management. It helps eliminate drone when in V4 mode vs V8… they started doing this in 2014 after so many complaints from customers that owned 2008-13 models because they could detect the...
  17. Weird noise when letting off acceleration

I have this. It’s done it for the last 80,000km.. it’s the muffler. When you let off the accelerator I believe the engine cuts the fuel and it’s just a deceleration drone through the exhaust.
  18. Bad shock absorber?!

Watching. My truck is level but my driver side helper leaf is distorted. It’s flush at the rear but favours to the inside of the truck at the front. 1/3 of the rubber contact pad won’t touch the main leaf when compressed
  19. Any Truth to This Regarding Disabling Stop/Start

If you want to disable auto start/stop it’s simple. Unplug the little connector on the battery ground. Disabled permanently until plugged back in. Only side effect is the little grey A when the auto stop/start isn’t engaged at a stop or when you hit the off button for the auto stop/start
