  1. Sarge's Magnetic Ranger

Brought it home in one piece! Fuel mileage was better then I expected with the 30-40 mph winds. Over the course of 120+ miles averaged 14mpg. Of course it was empty but pulled great! Looking forward to some firmer ground to get some wiring done and install some tie downs so I can store my SAR...
  2. Sarge's Magnetic Ranger

Guess who's getting a 6x12 enclosed trailer....:D Been looking for one since I built the Ranger on the Ford website. Was dissipointed when the bed wasn't wide enough for the tires on the quad so after Sunday I will have someplace to haul the ATV and any gear I need for SAR calls.
  3. Bob Rossing my tailgate

Winter night looks good to me.
  4. Side Mirror Indicator Turn Signal Lights

  5. Sarge's Magnetic Ranger

Of course I had a great day at work but we had some hellish winds today. Came out to the Ranger and my right rear quarter glass was shattered. Will get some better pictures tomorrow when its light out...

  7. Interior organization

Depending on your cab set up and how often you use back seats I suggest getting a back seat cover for dogs. Mine zipps up on the sides to make a box, protects the back seats from whatever I put in there(wet or otherwise), and has pockets to carry items behind the front seats.
  8. Fuel in oil

Standard test is 30 bucks, I opt for the tbn which is an extra 10 due to my racing itch. You absolutely do not need the tbn if you do regular oil changes.
  9. 2020 Ranger XL SuperCab - Towing 6,000lbs

I suggest doing a differential fluid change since you are over the 5k mark. I suggest only due to if you've done other towing with the vehicle it will help protect your front and rear gears for increased life. If you've allowed the stealer-ship to do it for you, disregard. I'm impressed with...
  10. Fuel in oil

Shorter trips are probably the culprit...
  11. Supercab Carseat even possible?

2019 Supercab will fit a carseat, there are tie down points in the back for them. As for adults...its possible but not super comfortable. I didn't get it to carry extra people though, I enjoy the extra bed room.
  12. Damper Shamed!

In regards to tail gate weight handling, does this reduce it's capacity? Seem to remember it stating it's only rated at 500' on the tail gate.
  13. VIDEO: Virginia to Montana

Glad you had a great trip, Beartooth pass can be awesome and terrifying in the same week. Funny story first, end of July my friend and I were going to Yellowstone and while traveling up Beartooth we heard and felt a "Bang!". Jumped out of the vehicle, checked all around, but could not find...
  14. Race settings

My only advice for track runs, do EVERYTHING the same, every time. it doesn't matter 2wd or 4wd and the diff lock only works on <20mph otherwise it disengages. Most error prone part of the vehicle is the driver... ;) The converter will take reving at the line so left foot brake, right foot...
  15. Water spot remover

This is the kit I've used for years... Mr. Clean AutoDry Car Wash System Starter Kit Linked to the amazon page. I bought mine over 15 years ago and they still produce the water cartridges for it. Normally wait for a sale to pick them up.
  16. Water spot remover

Personally I use a filter to do the rinse since we also suffer from hard water. There are many different hose end mounted filters avalible. I find using a chamois after washing helps a lot with water spots. Removing them I second the clay bar approach or a fine polish.
  17. 2019 ranger towing tractor?

You should not have any issue towing, my MPG goes in the 13-15 range when towing.
  18. Bird magnet?

It preformed the patented StarFox maneuver a little too late...
  19. Sarge's Magnetic Ranger

Race day last Saturday! Eighth mile track and a beautiful day. First time for me to get a .0 reaction time! Will try and get some videos up to share later tonight. Experimented with deep staging on my time only runs and look forward to some more seat time to nail it down. 1 RT .2451 ET 10.1278 2...
  20. Front Half Shafts

I cannot give you good advice on what happens after a lift but I can say going through some very rough terrain in my un-modded Ranger left me very impressed with its design. I've gone though many places where only two or three tires touch the ground and it still drives great. Obviously I've not...
