  1. 8th gear

You can go down gears but not up past what the computer wants in drive. You can go up past what the computer wants when you are in sport mode.
  2. Rock chips make me sad

I know, but it still hurts every time I wash it since its still new ?
  3. Rock chips make me sad

The chips are from stock setup. Only just added the lift and tires two days ago. Still stock wheels so no poke
  4. Rock chips make me sad

Rocks, salt, sand, beat juice (not a joke). I'll touch it up and 3M it. Because the chunky tires will now only throw bigger rocks. Mud flaps are also in the future if I can find some way to quick release them for offroad. Maybe motorcycle clips ?
  5. Rock chips make me sad

This is all from an OEM setup. Only thing was winter tires... Because well, winter. I only lifted it two days ago.
  6. 8th gear

Well it would help so I am in 10th on my daily commute like I use to be. I cruise 80-90 km/h and it won't shift into 10th unless I'm going 90-100+. It's just acting awkwardly as is.
  7. 8th gear

I meant I can make it go into 10th using sport manual shifting... I am just use to cruising in 10th gear in 'drive' down to my work, but now because the tires are bigger, I'm not going fast enough for it to shift into 10th. Yes, I have stock UCA. But it isn't wandering so I'm not too worried...
  8. Rock chips make me sad

Sad day. Make sure you protect your truck from rock chips. I've only had this thing for like 8 months and it's so chipped from one winter. Saw this crap only after giving my truck a good clean.
  9. 8th gear

So after a longer drive I found that I just have to go a bit faster and it will kick up the last two gears. It's probably just a calibration/speedo issue. I'll hit up the dealer that my old service manager is now at, and get it corrected.
  10. 8th gear

Oh good to know. Is there a factory way of doing it to maintain my warranty? Or is a tune required?
  11. 8th gear

Hey y'all, I wasn't totally sure where to put this but since I feel like it's due to tires, I put it here. I just finished installing a Fox2.0, and some 265/70R18 Toyo Open country M/T. After that I performed an alignment where I had about -4° and -2° caster. And I had to adjust front toe...
  12. Strange sound

It's a safe bet. When I worked at the dealer it was much easier to find the noise if someone else had heard it. Also it helps if there is a video, but it's not as helpful.
  13. Side Steps - Yay or Nay?

Yay. Rock sliders are next in my list. My girlfriend already struggles and I haven't installed the lift and tires yet. Also I find I slide too much on the seat bolster getting in and out. Plus side protection offroad is a big plus for me.
  14. Ditch light switches

I'm sure you could. You would have to remove the fascia and see how the port is held in. But you could likely replace it with something like this:
  15. Ditch light switches

Sick! I ordered it already. I got a light bar switch for my lights, a compressor switch and then a spare switch for something later (maybe an air locker for the front) and a blank. I'm stoked. Three switches and a holder for $170 CAD shipped! When the lightforce was $204 CAD with only one switch.
  16. Ditch light switches

Oh hell ya! I. Gonna order that. Way cheaper, looks just as good, and with three switches it's still cheaper by $30! Thanks man!
  17. Ditch light switches

Hey guys, I'm going to be installing a few things this upcoming week: -Fox 2.0 (with alignment) -Toyo Open country M/T -Ditch lights My question is this: Where should I mount my ditch light switch (temporarily)? I've looked at the options and the lightforce panel is what I really want, but...
  18. What are you guys towing?

Brought my old daily and my project FD to the wash last night. Brought the FD to my work this morning (to work on it).
  19. Stuck trying to install rear shocks

I've replaced shocks on several vehicles now. Usually just a lot of force to press it into place by hand
  20. The PIC whore club! Come on in!
