Rocks, salt, sand, beat juice (not a joke). I'll touch it up and 3M it. Because the chunky tires will now only throw bigger rocks. Mud flaps are also in the future if I can find some way to quick release them for offroad. Maybe motorcycle clips ?
Well it would help so I am in 10th on my daily commute like I use to be. I cruise 80-90 km/h and it won't shift into 10th unless I'm going 90-100+. It's just acting awkwardly as is.
I meant I can make it go into 10th using sport manual shifting... I am just use to cruising in 10th gear in 'drive' down to my work, but now because the tires are bigger, I'm not going fast enough for it to shift into 10th.
Yes, I have stock UCA. But it isn't wandering so I'm not too worried...
Sad day. Make sure you protect your truck from rock chips. I've only had this thing for like 8 months and it's so chipped from one winter. Saw this crap only after giving my truck a good clean.
So after a longer drive I found that I just have to go a bit faster and it will kick up the last two gears. It's probably just a calibration/speedo issue. I'll hit up the dealer that my old service manager is now at, and get it corrected.
Hey y'all, I wasn't totally sure where to put this but since I feel like it's due to tires, I put it here.
I just finished installing a Fox2.0, and some 265/70R18 Toyo Open country M/T. After that I performed an alignment where I had about -4° and -2° caster. And I had to adjust front toe...
It's a safe bet. When I worked at the dealer it was much easier to find the noise if someone else had heard it. Also it helps if there is a video, but it's not as helpful.
Yay. Rock sliders are next in my list. My girlfriend already struggles and I haven't installed the lift and tires yet. Also I find I slide too much on the seat bolster getting in and out. Plus side protection offroad is a big plus for me.
Sick! I ordered it already. I got a light bar switch for my lights, a compressor switch and then a spare switch for something later (maybe an air locker for the front) and a blank. I'm stoked. Three switches and a holder for $170 CAD shipped! When the lightforce was $204 CAD with only one switch.
Hey guys, I'm going to be installing a few things this upcoming week:
-Fox 2.0 (with alignment)
-Toyo Open country M/T
-Ditch lights
My question is this:
Where should I mount my ditch light switch (temporarily)?
I've looked at the options and the lightforce panel is what I really want, but...
