Cooper Discoverer Road + Trail AT 265/65/18 XL are working really well for me. I'm eager to get these in the snow and see how they perform. I am pleased how well they grip the pavement in the rain. Road noise is not an issue at all.
Bonus is they look pretty sweet too :sunglasses:
Nice Truck!
I just recently changed to Bilstein 5100's on all 4 corners with a 1.5" level. Increased from factory tires to 265/65/18's. I love the look. The ride improved. But did take a slight hit on mpg's. Most likely due to the tires. But I'm happy with it...
I did A LOT of research on this site about the tires and at what level to set the Bilsteins. After seeing the truck set at 1.8 I was a little hesitant to keep it there. But after I had the old Hankooks removed and the larger tires put on, I'm happy with it. I'm really pleased with how the truck...
I'm heading to my local Discount Tire this Saturday morning to get the Cooper Road+Trail 265/65/18 put on, after having the Bilstein 5100's installed last week.
I found a lower price online for the Coopers and Discount Tire matched it, saving me almost $100.
I'm kinda excited for the final product!
Including material?
Your total for the shop @ 650 + 425 (material) + 75 (tax) = just shy of 1200. So that kinda answers my question. 1300 isn't too far off of the norm.
So I'm looking to replace the shocks and add a level for larger tires. 2019 Lariat Super-Crew 4x4 (non-FX4)
Was quoted $1300 for the Bilstein 5100's, front only. My thought was they can just use the factory springs. Otherwise it was $2400ish for the 6200 kit (4 corners). From what I...
I had issues with my Ford App when I was caught in the Sync 3 update loop a few months ago. After getting Sync 3 updated to the latest version everything worked as intended. Check into your version of Sync 3 and update as needed.
All together, I really like the truck.
Ya, it has some issues, but EVERY vehicle will.
I had a 2005 F150 before I got my 2019 Lariat Ranger. I wanted to go with another F150. But I didn't need as big of a cab to haul kids around and was wanting better MPG. Found the 2019 with 7200 miles on it...
Look into it further. Lot's of dealers are diagnosing the APIM as being shot, when it's actually the Sync 3 software that needs updated. Go to Cyanlabs online and investigate your issue.
Dealers are replacing the APIM and the issue persists. It could be the APIM, but I'd investigate further...
A message came up on the dash indicating my battery in the fob needed changed. (Interesting. Didn't know it would do this.)
I switched to the second fob (which has never been used) and all is good. I'll need to get batteries sometime. But for now...
