Certainly feels satisfying to get them in there after yesterdays struggles. I did not come up with the zip tie method.. found it from an old timer on youtube :)
I returned the clamp to home depot when i was done with it and got my $35 back.
success! I got this big ass clamp and some hefty zip ties and got them all compressed. didnt even jack it up, popped them in. hardest part was getting the rubber boot back over the lip on the passenger side.
ok.. so you jacked it up to take the old ones off, put the new one in the top, and then let it down off jack/stands and then finished with it on the ground?
So, i just spent 4 hours rolling around on my garage floor trying to install the rear eibach shocks. I can not for the life of me compress the shock enough to fit back into the the bottom mount. I have the truck up on jack stands in the rear. first on the axle, then on the front leaf spring...
I am looking to get my 2019 Lariat 4x4 Sport leveled out. Only place i've gotten a quote from is Trick Trucks in Frederick and they want $750 for parts, install and alignment. a bit more than i was looking to spend.
Anyone have a recommendation around Montgomery County for a leveling kit...
i was hoping to spend about $500 to get the front leveled,, now i'm in for a minimum of 750, or a whole new suspension thanks to the recommendations here :D i wish i could do it my self, but i dont have a big enough jack, or the patients to do the work myself. i know ill mess it up and end up...
Is this the Eibach kit?

I don't have FX4, so im not sure if thats different suspension components, im guessing it is. I dont mind the ride, but my wife comes from cars/small SUV so i guess the "truck" ride quality is different for her.
Hey all, I'm trying to figure out what do to about leveling my ranger, its a 4x4 lariat sport package. i was considering the RC 2.5", but my local truck shop recommends the ready lift 3" kit. I just read in another thread if you go above 2.5 you need different control arms? i'm not off roading...
Did you have to modify anything in the wheel wells to get those tires to fit? ive got the same wheels, looking at doing the 3" level. what 3" kit did you use?
Body shop at the dealer is not interested in trying to fix the existing part, that end, painted gray part is over $600 alone.. sheesh, feel bad for the kid that backed in to me. total estimate is $1200 :(
