I've had the first prototype on mine and definitely saw improvements fuel economy wise and just a slight hair on the track. The final piece looks awesome!!
I really am curious how this will perform with the E85 tune. I am really concerned at the small intake tube that pulls air from the grille/hood area....clearly the flex bellow from the turbo to airbox is of concern as well...
No resonator as of now. I plan to add a 24" hi flow one after I get that 12.9x pass. It is honestly not that bad as it is. I drive a lot of miles so sometimes I just would rather silence...lol...
Velossatech is only doing a ramair piece that mounts behind the grille which directs air up into the intake tract. My truck has the prototype on it which fits amazing and once we can get the finished product on I'm sure it will be pretty quick to market. I asked him if he would do a piece...
Hell yeah!!! Seeing what I gained the most with and I would recommend first was drop in filter, exhaust, and tune. The BOV and AFE pipes I'm sure help at this power level, but not a necessity. I'm working on some intake box mods that hopefully will show some cheap quick performance gains as...
Would love to see that data. I hate seeing everybody boast about this tuner and that tuner....I love to see real world results and not a good marketing plan...lol...
I would love to see real world comparisons of all tuners on the same vehicle with back to back dyno pulls/track time. I know when I was tune only on 93 octane I would pull on the same truck with different tuners software. Obviously now with E85 it's like clubbing baby seals. I would love to see...
I’m trying to get the 60’ down for sure. I’m feeling it somewhat nose over after half track so I think I’m choking out air flow on the big end....I’m going to try something and see what happens...
Something like that...need a factory air box and hose from box to turbo to do some fab work...definitely a lot of potential to smooth out the air flow and get cooler air in
The only issue I have with water/meth is that if it is tuned to run with it and the pump or something fails....booooom.
its on my truck...well the prototype. He has the real one made and ready to go but this vivid thing and scheduling conflicts have caused it to be delayed....
With E85 it gives you similar gains and performance allowing gains....or so I've read. It's so easy to just hit the pumps and ride....definitely sucks to have to fill up a little more often. A larger tank would be amazing for these trucks.
I drive the truck 150+ miles per day so the cost of race fuel makes no sense at all. I compared cost of fuel comparing 93 octane tune and e85 tune and it was about $ .20 per gallon difference. I am running a K&N drop in with a velossatech designs prototype ram air setup already.
