Mine already has it mounted. I'm curious what impact there is to the bumper after removing it? Not sure if it's bolted or riveted. May try to get some touch-up paint and bondo-fill the holes then paint to match. Or just leave as-is if they're not too noticeable.
Would there be any significant difference between buying an nguage tuner and tune from 5-star directly vs. buying the tuner elsewhere and getting email tunes from 5-star? I'm seeing that I could likely get them cheaper from separate sources.
Wow, that's pretty solid. You've got me hovering over that shopping cart button...
Can someone give me a short version of why one would get the ngauge tuner over the SCT/BullyDog/5star tuner? From what I can see on 5-stars site and elsewhere the ngauge is more expensive, but can't discern what...
Yeah, I noticed that. basically as long as i'm not using Sync 3's assistant to do it, it seems to work. (I installed the smart relay yesterday, works like a charm from inside the house.)
Yeah, I've done them before on other vehicles. I think you won't notice imperfections as much if you're going with black paint. My new wheels will be hiding the calipers, so i'm personally not gonna bother.
You're referring to the factory bushwhackers? You might want to ready up here: https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/bushwacker-fender-flares-bolt-on-look-no-drilling.2403/
Summary: The Bushwackers can be wrapped or painted and attach without any drilling. They do not meet flush with the...
Sounds like you'll beat me getting it installed. I patiently wait a video of the exhaust results.
Apparently I may be 3-4 weeks out on getting my refund on my bum ranger
Have you tried contacting ICON directly? That's where I had initially ordered a Stage 1 kit (before talking with XTP), and it claimed to be ready for shipment by late March
I'm honestly not sure how the timelines were determined, but XTP Diesel & Offroad here in Dayton said they could have the ICON kit in within days. I know they work with different warehouses. Now you've got me questioning if the info I was given was correct or not. They're supposed to install the...
Understandable. You have a timetable on the stage 2 kit yet? The shop that's doing my +12's and 285/70/17 Ridge Grapplers is also doing a Stage 2 Tubular at 3", but he claims he can have it delivered within 48 hours once they get the truck.
So for anyone that hadn't heard the Ohio automotive news, that gas tax got approved, but we don't need front license plates after July 2020 :handsinair:
