  1. PRE COLLISION ASSIST

I can confirm it does work below 15 mph. Today, I approached a vehicle in the drive-thru quickly at maybe 5mph and Pre Collision Alert activated.

  3. SOLVED: Driver Side Frame 1/2 Lower, Shim Added to Rear Leaf Spring

I had a 2000 Ranger with a lean. Swapping the springs side to side did the trick, but a new truck ? Ugh...
  4. Hot Wheels Ranger Raptor

I bought a few... Got tired of digging though.
  5. What ball mounts are you guys running?

Probably not but like I said, I don't tow often enough to worry about it.
  6. What ball mounts are you guys running?

This what I use. I don't do a lot of towing so I'm not worried about adjustability just yet. If I do get a boat or camper, I'll revisit the ball mount.
  7. What are you guys towing?

Been towing this back and forth from work to the gas station twice a day for nearly 2 weeks. The airend on my big 50hp IR compressor decided it didn't want turn any more. Compared to when I towed this same type of compressor with my 15 Colorado, I will say it tows better with the Ranger. Having...
  8. RCMUSTANG'S Auto Folding Mirrors Mod Buy Thread

I think I would only be concerned if a lot of water got into the mirror and then a hard freeze. I know it's another make, but my wife's Kia has auto fold mirrors and haven't had any issue in 3 years
  9. Ranger performs well in IIHS crash tests

So THAT is how you remove the grille....
  10. SOLVED: Driver Side Frame 1/2 Lower, Shim Added to Rear Leaf Spring

I'd check that the front springs are oriented correctly in the buckets. Something else to look at is the leaf spring bracket locations. No need to measure, just visually compare left to right.
  11. GM doesn't see Ranger as a threat

My 15 Colorado with the 6 speed always hunted for gearing in slow/stop and go traffic. It drove me to hate the truck (among other nuisances) and eventually sell it back to the dealer after 4 years.
  12. GM doesn't see Ranger as a threat

My father is retired from GM (35 years) and has driven Ford's most of his life (Dodge back in the 50s/60s). His pension isn't dwindling nor is it small.
  13. New Colors for the 2020 Model Year Ranger

Abyss or Lead Foot Gray would look good on the Ranger

  15. FORScan Modifications

Can HVAC controls be changed with forscan ? Looking to see if multiple zones can be selected at once.
  16. Why I bought it. Pic.

I don't haul bikes, but do y'all ever have any issue with tailgate bouncing ? If so, do you have any remedies ? Personally, when I have to have the tailgate down, I'll load it with some weight to minimize the bounce.
  17. I hope Ford doesn't do this.....

There isn't anything behind the Ranger grille to warrant this to happen. I could understand lifted trucks, but a grille...
  18. Odd transmission behavior

Are you sure it wasn't the hill start assist ?
  19. TSB: 19-2145 - 2019 Ranger - Illuminated MIL With DTCs P02EE, P02EF, P02F0, P02F1, P02F2, etc...

You'd think that with all the tech on new vehicles, you should either be able to see the error code on the infotainment or vehicle app instead of having to connect a third party tool.
  20. One Touch Open/ Close Window Module Interest Thread

Just another affirmation post. I installed the module this evening. The instructions are clear and easy to understand. I did mount the module in the recommended location, using zip ties to hold it to the door card, so it's in-between the card insulation and foam insulation to minimize vibration...
