This what I use. I don't do a lot of towing so I'm not worried about adjustability just yet. If I do get a boat or camper, I'll revisit the ball mount.

I think I would only be concerned if a lot of water got into the mirror and then a hard freeze. I know it's another make, but my wife's Kia has auto fold mirrors and haven't had any issue in 3 years
I'd check that the front springs are oriented correctly in the buckets. Something else to look at is the leaf spring bracket locations. No need to measure, just visually compare left to right.

I don't haul bikes, but do y'all ever have any issue with tailgate bouncing ? If so, do you have any remedies ? Personally, when I have to have the tailgate down, I'll load it with some weight to minimize the bounce.
You'd think that with all the tech on new vehicles, you should either be able to see the error code on the infotainment or vehicle app instead of having to connect a third party tool.
Just another affirmation post. I installed the module this evening. The instructions are clear and easy to understand. I did mount the module in the recommended location, using zip ties to hold it to the door card, so it's in-between the card insulation and foam insulation to minimize vibration...
