Switched them out and all seems well now, no vibrations on a spirited test drive... mark me down for the biggest self inflicted wound in Ranger5G history and dedicate a page(or at least a sticky) to my ineptitude...
Plastic surgery seems to have went fairly well, you know , at one time, I thought i may want to be a surgeon, but it took a long time and I just didn't have the patients...didn't have the "pat....."... anywho, I will switch them out tomorrow and see what happens... good times...
I can clearly see the flats at 12 and 6 on the yoke but I can't make out anything on the splines , I even pressed it on some paper to get the outline and to my old eyes it looks the same...
Not originally, now , I'm not really sure where the hell they are at ... the yoke does have wide spots at 12 and 6 but the splines don't seem to match that , which would be most helpful...
Ok , looks like I'm stuck with these two, I just need to figure out why they got divorced in the first place and how to get these crazy 🤪 kids back together!

Well the nightmare continues, just installed the Tom Woods and I have a vibration at 45 to 55 that was not there before... I guess I'm going to have to order a Ford one...
As I have also wanted an electric fan option, it seams the main issue (as i read it) is there is no way to tell the BCM about it so it turns on and off with the temp...
Keep driving by in your SuperCab and see if you can convince them to make a few trucks that actually look good and have a proper bed length to door handle ratio with 6 and 2 being the sweet spot imo... NO FORD ! Not 6 door handles and a 2 foot bed as I damn well KNOW thats what you guys want and...
Im not convinced the hose really does all that much if/when one lockes up, the ones I saw would have taken out a new hose imo, I would just hate to see that much wiring damage if a simple connector could prevent it...
