Mine’s been Big Blue from day one. It’s WiFi hotspot (if I ever turn it on) is called Big Blue as well.
Had a 2007 Expedition EL and called it The Beast. (From 2007 to 2016). Coincidentally, it was built in same plant as Big Blue if Wikipedia is correct (just 2007-2008 from what I could tell).
Hmmm. I might have to give that a shot. Admittedly, I screwed up the install as I left a 1/8” or less gap at the top. How did you prevent this during install? Gravity was not my friend.
What’s the best way to go about removing the FX2 sticker? I like the cleaner look to be honest and pulling that off seems like it wouldn’t be too difficult...I hope.
There is a stretch of highway in Texas with a limit of 85, so I’m not gonna throw shade for going that fast, but the fidelity of your tires is very important. There’s a lot of energy at play with a wheel spinning that fast. Resonances are also funny where they’ll just increase seemingly induce...
Would suggest having video to share as I doubt they’ll want to go out and do 85 to find the issue. Bring a friend as you shouldn’t film while driving :)
So I have these too and was thinking it had to be over 65 degrees Fahrenheit to do them. I have these, letters for the front grille, bushwhacker rocker and sill thingy and just got in the aeroskin 2 deflector. The Bushwhacker said 65. Just assumed that all needed that.
Tempered glass screen protector for Sync 3 (8”). Was impossible to put on there properly, couldn’t move it to the right position and had to crack the protector to get it off. Screen is fine without it. I was just being stupid thinking I needed it.
I’d get mine again in a heartbeat. I wish that I could’ve added rain sensing wipers and the B&O stereo to the XLT I got. I have 302A, tech, towing, FX2 so really have everything I wanted. Absolutely love driving it every single time.
That’s my thought too. They were behind about a week for the tech and part procurement was slow due to rona. Was nice to know I didn’t have crap in the fluid and also nice that I have fresh fluid post break-in. Was also very happy that an update was performed. Anyway, now to install my...
This is some solid info here. Thank you for this high quality explanation.
As for the OP, get the oil analyzed and if there is an issue take it to the dealer. Maybe have them do the next oil change anyway to see if there’s a difference. It’s just standard troubleshooting - get more data to help...
I’m guessing to that the 84 SVO was running a bit more boost too if memory serves lol. Heard it’s was really a fun car since it was so much lighter than it’s V8 cousin.
So heard from the dealer - and this is preliminary as they haven’t opened it up yet - the codes and drivability seem to point to a valve body issue. Service manager stated that if they see metal in the fluid that all bets are off.
Probably can’t tell as I posted smaller pics, but here’s the setup:
