Good to know! I will try that thank you. I used the dummy switches and didn’t go into the as-built. When they didn’t come on with the lights in auto, car in gear I figured it was missing the wire. I hope this works for me.
Wanted to throw an update out there for anyone else doing this swap.
I noticed my DRL was still my low beams with the new headlights just as it was with the halogens. I really wanted the LED strip to be the DRL. So I did some poking around and found out that it’s a forscan setting that can be...
agreed.
I also like that it’s comfortable to sit or lay in the bed. My son likes to sit back there when we are parked. It fills in the voids and makes it have a flat surface.
I think it depends on how you plan to use the truck. I had this same debate and went with the bed rug because I don’t want stuff to slide around under my bed cover. I haul tools and jacks etc to the race track when towing my racecar. So for me the bed rug was the way to go. I can put a jack...
straight cash homie.
haven’t even thought about the points. Prob never use them since I don’t plan on accumulating anymore as I am allergic to ford service departments.
Wish I had 12k so I could buy the kit. Lol. Also, I thought you guys weren’t going to sell anything separately. I had asked before if you would do that...
Rotated my tires at 5k miles. I was running 5lbs more in my rear tires because I had been towing a heavy load the day before. Next time I drove the truck I saw the higher inflated tires were in the front. It does it auto-magically folks. No need for all this honking and hazard sorcery.
Checked all of mine with no issues after 7500 miles. Funny enough I happened to look at an F250 I have and it has similar plastic parts and they are not broken after 12 years and 170k miles. So I’d say they last if they are not faulty or installed improperly.
hahaha. You only added 80lbs? I guess that’s a good start. I’m going with 150 and the resistance strut mod. Should really help me build my biceps. I’m thinking I park right outside the local watering hole and I should easily bag 3 ladies with a combined full set of teeth.
these macho guys see it as weakness apparently. Their giant muscles and superior brain strength being replaced by 2 brackets and a strut. Their entire world has been threatened. How will they impress local ladies they just met on farmers only?
Op, I too have been looking at spacers. If you are going to get good ones, you will spend the 200 like the ones from stage 3. You could do some eBay cheapies but I wouldn’t trust those on my rig. Just my opinion.
so I’m fairly new here but I’m guessing you are one of the local forum trolls?
if you think anyone here can’t open one without slamming it or can’t hold the weight then maybe it’s you with the issues? The more obvious answer is that people would rather not have to let it down. It’s a matter of...
Yes, it won’t let you drive until the key is in the ignition or detected for the lariat guys. If you lose your key you can use the app to live in it and turn it on for 15-30 minutes at the time to warm up, but you won’t be driving. Haha
I can’t believe this is accurate. I’ve towed quite a bit with mine. I also have a trailer brake installed. It’s a beast to tow with, better than my 98 F150 I had. Brakes on the truck are great, the tow setting with the deceleration in the gears works amazing and the engine has more than enough...
Yeah the ford pass app is pretty awesome when it works.
I remote start nearly everyday with it, either scheduled or on the fly. I’d say it works 3/5 times. Not sure if it’s my phone, the app, my WiFi, the truck, or if I fart next to the phone why it doesn’t work when it doesn’t work.
