I think @Cape Cruiser gave you the answer earlier. I just checked the thread he referenced and if you look at post #7, you can see what looks like a gap or small opening at the top of the black cover that will lead you to the power source that I believe you are looking for.
I'm curious about...
Most agree that the intake is pretty darn good as is. Just use a good aftermarket high flow air filter that is oil free such a AEM if you want the best value for your money. You might eke out a few horse power with a CAI, but they do more for looks than anything else if that is what you are after.
This is a good video to watch about LED bulbs. Though it's a year old and LED technology has gotten better in that short time, it does talk about how well the GTR CSP Mini's are designed in relation to how it mimics a halogen bulb better than most. I'm still trying to decide whether I want to...
Hover your curser over a members user name / handle. A pop-up will display and show if the member has a showcase or not. If they do, then there will be pictures. I checked and he has some good shots. You can find them here.
Get this... Did my second oil change over the weekend. 8400 miles on the truck. I let the drain pan with the oil in it sit overnight and the next morning the garage smelled like gasoline and oil. My 5 gallon recycle can was full after I dumped it in today and I took it to one of my local auto...
I like those beams. I hadn't seen them before. I think your wheel back spacing is what required the use of aftermarket intrusion beams. A 0 offset (4.75" back spacing) sticks the wheel out pretty good thus creating a larger turning arc and requiring more room.
Nitto makes the Ridge Grappler in an LT285/75R17/E. It's 33.86" tall with a section width of 11.26". I've been eying that and the 34-10/50R17 BFG KO2 which is a 33.5" tall with a 10.5" section width.
Thanks, much. What are you changing them out with? Your build is very similar to what I'm looking to do. Icon wheels are on my list as well since I don't want a lot of poke.
I first changed my oil at 2600 miles and sent it out to be tested. I had reported on this thread that it came back with 2.0% fuel dilution. I now have 5K more miles on it and will be changing the oil and sending it out again. I'm not overly concerned at this point.
Overall, the oil raised a bit...
A large majority of the truck wheels available are cast wheels. The RTR wheels are flow formed which is typically lighter than cast. So they should be a bit lighter than other options.
