I believe so, again maybe depending on your relationship with your dealer of choice (+ how far your out of your warranty window) there may be some leeway here.
Have to keep in mind though TSB's are just bulletins and NOT recalls. They exist based upon the most commonly reported issues from...
Both the H11 and 9005 bulbs were available 1 day?
I see the H11's but the 9005's look to up in the air sporadic on delivery times.
I guess it doesn't matter....I'm an impatient person haha....I'll give the Philips a go for now but probably believe these Auxito's are a better solution.
I'm...
They look promising...I was going to take the plunge but amazon (Canada) didn't have them readily available to order and I wanted to find out more about any DRL issues if any.
I settled right now for a new set of Philips +100 x-vision halogen bulbs
Did these Auxito's cause any grief regarding...
Here is the link to the reported issue from NHTSA

It is my understanding the issue isn't repaired as...
Yeah that heater box issue is a nuisance...I just had that issue resolved under warranty for my '19 XLT luckily just under my warranty expiration.
It was quite the procedure so I was told regarding the dash removal and line recharges....about a day and a half in the shop.
The SSM for this...
OP or anyone else in this thread have experience with these auxito led bulbs with the Low Beam DRL with the switch set to Auto? Does this cause flickering or need for a set of those pwm flicker modules?
Did you run into any fitment issues with these premium flaps on your tremor? Or did they go on without issue?
I've read about the molded ones not fitting correctly but I was wondering how these flaps would work out.
Did you run into any fitment issues with these premium flaps on your tremor...
Next week...I am scheduled to drop off my 2019 XLT supercab 300A for this issue. (Manual temp control non-dual zone)
Telltale sounds of a mechanical grinding/clicking/popping/snapping sound from behind the HVAC control panel.
Fan blower speed not affected, I still am able to direct fan vent...
This definitely the most likely option for the next time out of warranty. As another member mentioned...they had good success with JB weld marine epoxy.
Your right, the part will literally line back up from where it fell off from.
The screws are definitely weak sauce..or at least after time...
Nice..nice I was thinking about some sort of magnetic option...but again they would be fastened to plastic (as the base) so it still would be touchy at best
Makes sense.....Im not surprised they wouldn't concede swapping oem options .....I can't imagine busting the glass and not having use of the truck for weeks or months due to part back log.
I don't regret slider vs fixed...I'm a little disappointed that the Ranger never came with a power...
If the window(glass) was literally broken I'd probably have no option but to go that route...but I can make do for now as it still closes and seals somewhat. Luckily the window isn't like my old '93 Chev K2500 where a human can squeeze inside the open slider....this little one doesn't make much...
Yes it's definitely one avenue to look into for sure. Now that I know what I know...I wonder since the piece (mounting plate) is non serviceable anyways what would stop someone from removing the screws from the latch and possibly filling the cavity of the latch with something that would...
Yeah for sure..I've been looking over the parts in my hands to see what if anything I can do in the future to make some sort of fix for this should (probably) it happen again.
It's such a weird design as the catch literally has screws in it to be removed off the mounting base plate....but for...
Negative....I have filed my claim to be covered by warranty as I am close to being out of warranty ...but I am still waiting on dealer to reach back out to me with details on ETA and availability.
The dealer works (contracts out) with a 3rd party glass dealer so maybe it's through their network...
Contacted local Ford dealer...confirmed part in question is a non serviceable part and will require a new back glass panel...lucky for warranty remaining.....
I'd say a poor design where a couple bucks of plastic dictates replacement of entire back window....will need to research backup plans...
Hey no problem,
I was just trying to confirm my biggest issue was if this plastic piece is going to result in a total glass rear window replacement....which would be unfortunate...luckily I have warranty remaining.
I appreciate your time!
Shaun
P.S. will hold on to parts if possible to...
