This is mainly a hardware limitation from what I have deduced. With my digging into the forScan options for the radio, all the functionality seems to be there to turn things on an off, but without the hardware many options just don't do anything.
Ok now I got the hang of it. You were right after I figured out the first one the other other was super easy. Thanks for the tip.
Here’s my replacement.

Has anyone figured out the trick to get the puddle lights out of the mirrors?
I just tried to remove them and I can get them unlatched but I can't pull them out. They seem to get wedged because they want to pull out at an angle and not straight down.
Any suggestions/tips/tricks for trying to...
On the Lariat with the 501A package, press the seek forward button on the center console and the hang up phone button on the steering wheel for 5 seconds. If it works it will go through the speaker test. Its loud/high pitch so make sure your volume is at a resonable level not to kill your ears.
Looking at the parts lists it seems as if there are 2 Reciever assemblies for the Ranger one for a single tuner and one with a dual tuner. The price difference is nearly $100. I have a feeling the part of the difference is HD radio. because none of the options in forScan I tried turned on HD...
I just went out and measured it using my laser level to be 100% sure.

Just installed the GFB DV+ and took the truck for a drive.
My first impressions are quite surprising. I was somewhat skeptical of the difference this small upgrade would make but I have reversed my thoughts after the install. I will have to put in many more miles for a full complete report...
Just tested out the Stubby and the Stubby Jr. compared to the Original in the diagnostics mode. There is a signal strength test in there and I used that to get the following results.
Original - 62
Stubby - 43
Stubby Jr - 37
No antenna - 24
After I switched antennas I waited 30 seconds for...
I haven't tested these but they should disable the seatbelt chime and the door ajar chime.

It might fit the NA Ranger.
I'm interested in a few more details on how you did the passenger window mod. What module did you use? Part numbers?? FYI, love the pics of the install. It will be very helpful.
What does the Chimes menu do? It's listed in our manuals and hidden by default on my Ranger. I turned it on using the following settings. Just no clue what it does to confirm it’s working in any way.
No DDM or PDM yeah that makes sense. Anyone have an idea if the Explorer or F-150 modules might work. Or how make them work? The programming is there in the IPC and the BCM.
So I think I have found more info. I haven't had a chance to investigate any of these settings. I've been looking at the Explorer Forscan list https://www.icloud.com/numbers/0AtiYU-yJ4Nrfyfuzp-Mi0l8A#FORScan_2011-2019_Explorers

According to our manuals there is an Alarms menu in Settings > Vehicle > Alarm. I was able to enable its display using the following forscan options.
Is this menu showing for anyone in their models without forscan?
Also I’m not sure if the options work as I have no idea how to test out the...
