I hope its boot down just put them in and dont want to have to horse around with them again.
Unfortunately my order was screwed up and I got two pair of rear shocks. Also 1 of 4 was defective.
What about the rear? Mine are scheduled for delivery today and it's cold so want to be as fast as possible. The online instructions aren't explicit but I assume shaft oriented down towards the axle? Also are the sleeves the correct size? If not what do I need? Can they be easily pressed...
Others have suggested to me that the compass is the best thing to put on the right but I agree with Android Auto or CarPlay its not needed. The best thing to do with that screen in my opinion is to use it to switch between AM/FM/XM and scroll thru preset channels so you dont have to exit carplay.
CDV, I thought you mentioned previously that the Eibachs eliminated (or reduced) the nose dive the truck does when you touch the brakes. Can you elaborate on what you are referring to here?
Just ordered front and rear myself to take advantage of the black friday pricing. Been lurking around for a while to figure out best options. Anyone know how long until they arrive?
Hi Marc saw you got the Fox shocks installed on another post. Can you update this thread with rebound control from the new shocks after you do some highway travel. I know I would really appreciate it. Trying to decide between a Fox or Eibach upgrade.
That's interesting same tires lariat 4x4 mine says 30. Like everyone else test drove it and took delivery with about 47psi. Had no problem with the ride. Then dropped it to 30 once I realized and hated it. Constantly bouncing, esp on highway and made my wife sick. As I've mentioned in...
1. Double honk
2. Uselessness of right side gauge cluster (lariat) when phone attached.
3. No trans temp, oil temp, other vitals
4. Touch to unlock on all handles except tailgate. Hate having to find my keys when approaching the tailgate is when you need "hands free" unlocking the most.
@Stage3Motorsports for those of us shopping around can you characterize the difference between aftermarket shock options (i.e. how are they valved compared to stock stiffer/softer and by what %)
Want to approach this as scientifically as possible. Doesnt seem to be much info out there.
I believe you are referring to this one:

Rebound control is one of my main issues too. I dont recall anyone else (besides above post) with such a glowing review of the eibach product. There is someone else...
This makes a lot of sense. I still feel like the rear is "bouncy", especially rebound on dips at high speed. Still a lot of inquiries on ride quality and a lot has been made of the "short wheelbase." Sure, its shorter, but not a ton. Isn't this monoleaf setup the single biggest difference to...
I love Canadians. They never have a problem telling Americans what they would do differently politically, environmentally, etc. From what I can tell you own a pickup truck and a helicopter. Thanks for doing your part...we are all humbled.
This is exactly the problem I had with it...which I believe have been reduced with higher tire pressure. To me, it feels safer, as I get a better feel of the road and not as much unpredictable movement. Also steering feels better to me. Appreciate everyones concern about high psi's. Just...
I have SCrew Lariat 4x4 non FX4 on Bridgestone Duelers. I have done some experimenting and have found the best first course of action is to try different air pressures. When I had the tires at ~30psi per the door the highway ride felt like I was in a boat, constantly bouncing and pulling into...
The main reason I am on this site is support for ride quality. Drove Chevy, Taco and Ranger but obviously missed it. Was forced into a fast purchase due to an accident and didn't do all my research. I appreciate your candid posts and hope that this community can share ideas on aftermarket...
I think this information is well presented and very useful, however have you tested at multiple gas stations? You are calibrating the ranger to a specific fuel pump volume reading. These things are tested depending on where you live but there are plenty of reports of inaccuracy. I suggest...
Did you experiment with tire pressure along with the new Kumhos? Im running the OEM Bridgestones with 34psi all the way around and it seems to have eliminated some of the wallow. I too have done the un-scientific bumper push test on my ranger and my wife's 2018 odyssey which ironically both...
