Those look great. Are they a shiny black? (Look almost chrome in your pics).
I was considering these for my Shadow black, as I want a black-on-black look, but not so much they don't stand out at all.
I was struggling with this myself yesterday, until I realized there's a tab on each end of the grill (vertical) that aren't easy to see/reach. Look near the big rubber pieces on each end.
Once i got those free, the others were easier to free up.
As far as the online tracker, my guess is that Ford's position would be "We offer this as a courtesy, if it becomes a problem we'll just do away with it". (Yes, I'm sure their intent was to lessen customer calls as much as anything).

I looked mine over really well, and only found a tiny hairline scratch on the “D”.
Thought about it and figured chances are something will scratch it at some point anyway.

Took about an hour, part of which was
-figuring out where the two outer clips were
-locating my shortie flathead screwdriver
-explaining to my wife what was “...wrong with the shiny grill?”.
Definitely worth a few bloody knuckles!

Removed the red FX4 stickers yesterday (no heat necessary, left the truck outside for 30 minutes, grabbed a corner and peeled right off)..

Joe called me today. His guy dropped a bunch of boxes off today.
My tracking number now shows delivery of next Wednesday.
He’s got several things in the pipeline, including tailgate letter inserts.
