  1. Thinking about super cab. Need advice

Every review I have come across emphasizes that the supercab rear seats are not comfortable for adults. Others here may provide more input regarding child seats, but those straight seat backs look very uncomfortable for all other passengers. Short trips on occasion may be ok, otherwise you will...
  2. Forum Decal

Will end up on the side of my work bench in the garage where all of my keeper decals and stickers go. The smaller one looks better to me.
  3. Midsize Truck Comparison: Ranger vs Tacoma, Gladiator, Colorado, Canyon, Frontier

The Duramax Canyon is my wife's it is not going anywhere. Replacing the Colorado? Looking for a higher trim level over the current WT. My first new vehicle was a 99 Ranger I am a fan. 19 Ranger? Researched it, test drove it, X planning it, makes sense for me.
  4. Midsize Truck Comparison: Ranger vs Tacoma, Gladiator, Colorado, Canyon, Frontier

The 6 speed tranny that came with the 2015 Colorado was/is flawless this has been a reliable and enjoyable truck for me 30k. Set a high bar for the 5th Gen Ranger. Somebody is getting a good vehicle once my Ranger is delivered. The wife's 2017 Duramax Canyon has had no issues and also uses a 6...
  5. The major incentive that is missing for the 2019 Ranger

I own 102 shares of F not a lot but enough to follow, and reading financial commentary about the strategy for production of the initial 2019 build priority to maximize profit reminded me of one major incentive that is missing as compared to the 2015 Colorado.
  6. The major incentive that is missing for the 2019 Ranger

There are no worries for me either the original post should not conjure up worries. The market is made by a buyer and a seller agreeing on a price. I would like to see the price come down before my delivery date. I bought a 2015 WT 4x4 Colorado that is being replaced by a 2019 Ranger XLT...
  7. The major incentive that is missing for the 2019 Ranger

I just like to follow the money it helps with acuity. I tend to agree that the value will be enhanced over time. The 5 yr 100,000 mile warranty was a value play to encourage first year model buyers of the Colorado/Canyon.
  8. The major incentive that is missing for the 2019 Ranger

The initial model year 2015 Colorado and Canyon came with a 5 year 100,000 mfg power train warranty. That is apples to oranges by comparison to ranger incentives. I have read where the initial year model Colorado had no incentives; not true by any stretch.
  9. Bed Cap Anyone have one? ARE Leer?

Model options and and exterior pics please.
  10. 2019 Ranger XL Rear Seat Delete Option

That is a good question. If removable will the trim pieces for the XL rear seat delete fit?
  11. 2019 Ranger XL Rear Seat Delete Option

Wish i could have ordered it with the XLT. Looks good!
  12. Forum Decal

Like the idea and proposed location keep it small. No white background on the .com. Maybe black on red there.
  13. Ford Under Investigation For Misreporting Emissions

Will have to see how this dog and pony show develops. The market did not flinch in the face of earnings, the stock was up over 10% the day of the announcement. Call me a cynic but i do not buy some California strawman argument instead of typical crooked corporate tactics encouraged and...
  14. Is there a way to leave lumbar heat on and turn off bottom heat?

I would like to see the circuit diagram. if there are two elements it seems like it would be as easy as disconnecting it.
  15. Is there a way to leave lumbar heat on and turn off bottom heat?

Are there two separate heating elements/circuits. In the Colorado you can have lumbar heat without bottom heat by using the provided switch. I have no use for the bottom heat, the lumbar on the other hand is beneficial for the old back. I would like to disconnect the bottom heat if it is...
  16. Order Summary Priority Code 80. Useful info?

Thank you. Dealer stock and high priority seem like red flags on my order sheet. This was a retail order. May not be an issue, I can see reasons for ordering it this way. Reminding my self every day it is delayed, is a day more of build experience.
  17. Order Summary Priority Code 80. Useful info?

Looking at my order sheet: Type = Stock Order Code = 1019 Priority Code = 80 Do this information have any relevance as to the priority for build? And to think I chuckled at posts about checking this site daily etc..., until I actually pulled the trigger.
  18. 2020 Ranger: Will it get the 2.7 V-6 Eco Boost?

My wife has the the Canyon Duramax Diesel, it is worth every penny for the option. Economics of a diesel vs gasser can be argued with many variables until the cows come home. There definitely is a market for the diesel. Having a clean Diesel in the family for towing and to a lesser extent fuel...
  19. Lets see those Cab window decals!!

Thanks for checking in. Diversity of political opinion inhibits autocratic rule and tyranny. It prevents whole populations from becoming charactures of their former selves.
  20. My Ranger is doing truck things!

Loving the mud on Magnetic look.
