Paint match is pretty close. I was worried at first because the color sprayed out like saber in the first few coats. Getting me excited about putting these back together.
I'm keeping two or three. One for myself, one for my son. Then I just got figure out a price point. Still got a bit to go. They should get their color sprayed on today.
All lined up and ready for paint
and can we stop to appreciate the level of detail that hot wheels put into the side vents here...
It's a blurry pic I know but you can still see the vent.
Making the best out of my spray paint.
Also, wish I would have seen this factory defect before I opened the package. Could have been worth something some day. May have to do a custom rack or something on this truck to hide the window.
No I literally just didn't pay attention to it. It is a possibility my salesman didn't go over it. But I was also going through a culture shock, if you will...going from a FBO 400+WHP Lexus to a truck ya know :like:
Can someone please tell me why we have 3 different metallic trims? Not talking about the silver part on the dash and doors. But we have chrome around the radio knobs. Dark chrome around the base of the shifter and vents, and a brushed/satin metallic finish on the door handles and on the shifter...

Hope that helps!
Unfortunately, because of the type of paint, I have about 48 hours once i pop the gardener into the can. So I have to paint all at the same time. I'm up to 4 in the collection. I'll be hitting up a few more Wal Marts up in the area. BTW, these things are going for a few dollars in eBay now.
After spending 34 dollars on a can of spray paint at an auto body supply store...I purchased a few more hot wheels. Gotta get my moneys worth..so....if anyone who would like a HPR ranger, please let me know and we can work something out lol.
