Herm, that brings up another point that I may have overlooked - it's possible that they're prioritizing certain areas of the US... Perhaps those 6 cities that they did commercials on, which are presumably identified as targeted markets.
So, let's take a look at what sales *could* be. We're going to make a few assumptions, and we're going to use some data that we know. For starters, the Ranger is being made at MAP, which recently underwent all sorts of new tooling in order to make the RWD Body on Frame Ranger instead of the...
Julie - you've had your setup for awhile now. How do you like the side bars? So you find that you wish that you didn't have them so you could access the side of your bed, or does it not really bother you? They're the one thing I'm unsure of at this time.
True, but that was not part of the original request. With that stipulation, I would go with a tonneau cover with a t slot, and then the Thule/Yakima T slot towers.
To be fair - I know OEMs have provided alternative calibrations to rental companies and utility companies to detune the performance. Not saying that's the case with this one, but if you legitimately thought that it was a slower vehicle than your Lariat, then that's a possibility. Strictly...
Pretty sure in MI its 4ft. Don't know about FL though, but that's an interesting thing I should revisit... I know my kayaks currently extend more than a foot, and the bikes for sure.
You use the keypad to lock it. If you press the 7/8 and 9/0 button together, you can lock the truck with your keypad, even if the keys are in the vehicle. Or at least that's worked on every other Ford I've tried it on, so I would expect the same to work on this truck.
I didn't mean to kick off any sort of victim blaming conversation. It sucks that the truck was stolen, and by no means is it your fault, even if you left it running in the driveway with the keys in it (though if you tell that to the insurance company, they won't cover it). I was/am just trying...
So can you open these and access the stuff in them in their stored position, or do you have to swing them out? I know that swinging them out will make it easier, but I just want to know if in a pinch I can get to it in the stored position. Since mine will be a weekend warrior, the bed is going...
Herm... I often go out on the water and leave my keys in the truck, using the keypad to lock it. I wonder if one of those aluminum bags like EZpass comes in would prevent the key from being used, such that I could hide it in the truck (so I don't lose it on the water), but if someone broke in...
Isn't your center lower bar blocking the entire charged air cooler? Have you noticed any engine response difference with feeding it hot air instead of amibient-ish air?
I'm definitely interested in that - it's one of the things I was going to miss coming from the 2013 Escape that has one touch up/down on all 4 windows. To confirm though how it works:
Short touch rolls each window down/up
What about the driver window, does it still function exactly the same...
Winter fuel has 1.7% less energy in it. E10 fuel (which is basically what the gov't tells gas stations to use) has 4% less energy in it that E0 (which is what the gov't mandates auto manufactures to certify against). Right there you have a 6.7% difference in what the label says and what you...
Drilling out the rivets is fine - but how to get to them to drill them out is the question? The strip is over top of them. I'm assuming that the assembly is to align the rivets in the hole, and press the strip down, locking the rivets in place, and making it extremely difficult to take that...
From what I can tell, they have two rivets at the front and back right by the part joint... So they're absolutely not designed to be removed, and I would expect you'd have to break them to get them off.
