60k miles, we bought a EV Kona, wife now uses the Kona to commute. We are now saving 75/100 $ in gas a week, the miles will now grow very, very slowly. Still love the truck.
Hi,
Well, it won't reset itself, that's for sure. I had different issues then you, were it felt like someone was hitting me when coming to a stop. I have a '20 & yours is a '22. Last summer I brought it in & told them my issue & there was a TSB out. They did the TSB service & the issue is gone...
I'm just 15 mins into the video & decided to google 'ranger5g nextgen' & here I am. I plan to keep the ranger forever. Now I need to go see their site. I only have 60k miles & I got my transmission flashed last yr. My issue was it felt like someone was hitting me as I was slowing down, subtle...
Just curious, how many miles, what do you with it?
Good thing it was under warranty.
I got the TSB done this summer on the transmission, nice & smooth now with 60k miles.
My issue was when slowing down it would feel like someone was hitting from behind.
40k miles to go till BOOM!
Click bait tittle....
I'm at 59,500 miles, brought it in to the dealership for the last time. I'll be doing most of the maintenance now.
I'm out of warranty & hopping for the best.
They gave me a shopping list of things to do, it came to 1600$, ouch.
Me bad, I don't check my thread enough...
2025, wife took truck to work, again, at 99,000 km(almost 60k mile) I will be out of warranty
in a few weeks. Truck still good, got TSB for tranny in Aug, all smooth, need DPFE(wait till spring).
Generally speaking no major issues!
Truck is 4 yrs old &...
Still looking into this but the price makes me shake my head...
KA1Z5L200A from dealer is 152, but rock auto is 23$ - No hoses.
LB5Z-9J433-B is 173$ - With hoses.
What am I missing here? Is it a problem removing/reinstalling the hoses on the DPFE?
Anyway, no rush for me as the CE is no...
Yup. just changed my water pump on a 2007 Escape, what a pain but fairly easy, I'm just slow now.
Too bad it's 32f & not getting warmer, I hate working in the cold.
Tks @Trash Panda for the write up, much appreciated.
I got an intermittent check engine light, checked the code with torque & it was a P0113. This started in Sept, so today I went to dealer thinking it was emission related. They had a different code, which
was for DPFE. They want 5 hrs labor + parts, 60k mile truck. So that's over 1,000$ Canadian...
