The mid size trucks tend to always be the more watered down one size fits all vs full size trucks .. I think the ranger has a more traditional look to it but I don’t necessarily contribute the look to being old but more how mid size trucks are styled .. my previous trucks were a 15 lariat 150...

I had a regular cab 2wd f150 with the 2.7 and the absolute best I ever got was 24.5 mpg .. my ranger has already got near that

2k miles on mine and I reset the trips at the dealer .. showing a 23.8 average so far

***3/13/2019 Update*** Driver's Side Window Gasket Replaced, No More Wind Noise Hello, I’m not really sure if this is a issue or just the nature of the truck but it seems like I get a ton of wind noise at speeds above 50 mph .. definitely a lot more than a F-150 .. is anyone else noticing this?

The electronic power steering is a issue along with blocking the intercooler .. ford only recommended snow plowing with the 5.0 up until 2015

It also keeps track of how many people have there seatbelts latched

I’m not worried about how soon the next new ranger will be here .. everyone who thinks they’ll be a 2.7 in the next one is being very optimistic .. that’s like saying Toyota should but the small v8 in the Tacoma .. it just won’t happen , they’ll be advancements in the 2.3 giving it more power...

The drive home and some daily errands consisting of 75 mph interstate and rural 45 mph roads is showing 23.2 on the mpg gauage with 250 miles on the truck .. I reset both my trips before leaving the dealer .. my first thoughts is these truck will get some serious mpg in the 50-60 mph range

My truck updated with a new delivery day of 2/17 from 2/10 .. my truck is showing in production .. I figured it was optimistic that the truck would be built and delivered in the same week

That is a fact, I work for Norfolk southern and with this cold we pretty much hold trains till the weather breaks at my location

You won’t see big discounts on rangers like you do F-150, you might see 3-4K but that’ll be about it .. you have to remember ford won’t cannibalize F-150 sales and selling rangers extremely cheap with little profit margin will hurt the cash cow of the F-150
