Im going to be adjusting the sizes of the arms to fit my soon to be bed camper dimensions. So I will update all the cut list and everything for that. Ive been looking at material prices then realized that the back side of the camper wouldnt be fully covered with the current arm lengths.
The truck is looking a bit goofy right now. The rack is looking out of place until I build a roof rack over the cab. I’ve got a template for the rack drawn and cut out just working on the mounting part and then I’ll order some 1/4” aluminum from work.
Anzo USA headlights are super nice! Love how bright they are at night. The Amber light up pattern isn’t as bright as the white pattern on the AlphaRex headlights I had. I actually prefer it that way too!
3/4" x 3/4" x 14GA weight per foot is approximately .753 lbs / TOTAL: 36.897lbs
1" x 1" x .125" weight per foot is approximately .525 lbs / TOTAL: 25.725lbs
Total length I would need is looking around 49' of tubing. Just doing some quick math. I will review the excel spreadsheet for the cuts...
What’s up yall?! I have many projects going on with the truck and this is one I’d like to have separately from the truck in case others want to build it as well.
I would love to build a canopy for the truck. Especially since I work for a metal supply shop and can get a killer discount on aluminum and steel. I have been working on build plans for a bed camper that is similar to the flatbed campers from Four Wheel Campers.
I'm going to go with a Sherpa Rack or take a stab at building my own rack. but either way the roof rack will blend the billboard in more. haha
After I raised the main headboard up and pulled the truck out of the garage, I stepped back.... I said, " Damn that looks like a billboard."
they are big but I’m add a roof rack to the truck and it will look pretty slick with the taller head board. I’ve thought about making the front headboard removable as well so I could get a few more inches of space in the bed camper.
I’d like to drop my headliner just to do the sound deadening. I do wish the color was different. Not a huge fan of that tan color. I also wish the drivers side A-Pillar had a grab handle like the passenger side.
