  1. Good bye Friends....

If I still lived in Las Vegas I would have got a four-wheel drive Ranger. Definitely four wheel drive in the desert. My Tacoma, was a four-wheel drive when I live there used to go off-road rock climbing and up to Brain Head in the snow. . Out here just streets and two lane roads with trees on...

A mine was a 2 wheel drive. and they still came. up big. I don't get it but I'm not complaining.
  3. Good bye Friends....

I totally agree with that...I went five miles without steering..It tracked much better than the Ranger which would jerk side to side,
  4. Good bye Friends....

They're not going to be back before they already did that. The Ridgeline is definitely going to generate some interesting comments. I've been on that forum for yeas as I had a 2008,2014 and 2016 Tacomas especially for accessories and stuff for yearsThe only vehicle they hate more than the Ranger...

That's okay Dave I have a pretty thick skin I'm about ready to run over to the Tacoma World start a thread with pictures. LOL They already hate me because I got rid of my Gen 3 and bought a Ford Ranger...THIS ought to be fun.....LOL...
  7. Good bye Friends....

They have a few.... https://www.carvana.com/cars/ford-ranger-supercrew I don't understand how they could sell a Lariat two wheel drive like mine and mine had 6K miles. https://www.carvana.com/vehicle/1506822 They are selling A LARIAT WITH LESS MILES THAN MINE!! FOR $36K that's how much...

Dave, I'm too old to be concerned about what others think. That's the benefit of retirement you don't give a shyt. For me, if it's everything I need a truck for and what I would need an SUV for. Backseat has a lot of leg and Headroom. But I keep them up any way I like the space back there to...
  9. Good bye Friends....

Realize something else here. My truck was paid off so in essence I banked $36,000 I took a $417 a month lease. We lease both our vehicles now. I would never lease a ranger or Tacoma. One thing very nice about the Ridgeline is not a "hobby truck" you're not going to go out and buy running boards...
  10. Good bye Friends....

I don't think so. I initially was selling the Ranger to look at SUVs. I was looking at RDX, RX350..I stopped at Honda on my way to look at some RX350s in Charleston.......The test ride was eye-opening for me. I never did get to Charleston..... A lot of features lacking on the Ranger. I did look...

5' 3' and I can lay 4' wide wood No wheel wells to hinder a flat load ALL trucks should have this feature. . About 20MPG in town. Its a very pep-py engine. The "truck" is an acquired taste. Definitely It grows on you like a fungus..LOL
  12. Good bye Friends....

Thats an argument made by those with body on frame trucks. For someone like me its "Truck enough!!!" Only 5000lbs of towing. IT can carry anything the ranger can carry in the bed. Remember Obama said he was 1/2 black? but to a cab driver in NY he is all black...Well that's how I feel about...
  13. Good bye Friends....

Don't quote me but I think it's based on the fact that they had a lot of XLT and no lariats except for mine and my brothers. When I dropped off the truck oh, the carvanha girl was great she said they're buying a ton of trucks they just bought four wheel drive Tacoma 2016 I think . They paid 40K...
  14. Good bye Friends....

Thanks Its a great SUV for those who like that and a truck for those who like that. ITs a great meld between the two vehicles. Drives like its on glass. No bouncy. But I don't go rock climbing but it has crawl contriol anyway Major likes Bed radio is very nice. Love the side opening tailgate...
  15. Good bye Friends....

That's exactly my plan the all wheel drive version can tow 5,000 pounds. I haul yard crap to the dump as well as other crap I have to take to the dump, I also needed a bed for my Drums ( I would rather get a keyboard gig but the drums are fun as well. My set would not fit in anything smaller. I...
  16. Good bye Friends....

I don't think so. I did state I had the suspension upgraded..Less than a 2" lift and its ok. I don't know where they get their numbers but they are very generous with the Lariat
  17. Good bye Friends....

When do I go to Tacoma World and post my new Ridgeline??
  18. Good bye Friends....

That's exactly what happened to me. I got $ 35897 and decided its now or never if I want to try the Honda. I always like the NEW Ridgeline but decided to give the Ranger a try.....If they didn't offer so much , I would have kept the Ranger. And the next time I'm looking for a ranger I'm going to...
  19. Good bye Friends....

Nope. Since it's a lease I'm not doing any mods. It's not that kind of vehicle someone would mod up. I will buy a roll up cover for a couple hundred bucks but that's about it. Ridgeline is not that kind of truck you going to accessorize like crazyIt's basically a Honda Pilot basically a...
  20. Good bye Friends....

Im sticking around. Don't know about Joe. I still LOVE the Ranger but the Honda is a better fit all around and it will handle a Rascal scoot LOL....?
