Yup that's music to the ears of those of us willing to tune! Knowing that the engine is purposely restricted for lineup hierarchy reasons. Means plenty of power left on the table ;)
At this point - by August-September every year, vehicles in the U.S. are tagged as next year's models. So even if the Ranger Raptor was already announced for the U.S and started production next month, it'd still be a 2020 Ranger Raptor. With the speculation that it might be announced at LA in...
Activity and interest around here definitely ramping up after pricing and the builder were released. And lots of new faces. Now we just need specs to be announced.
The output for the 2.3L EcoBoost engine covers a really wide range depending on the vehicle.

2016–2017 Ford Explorer

Yea the pricing is basically the same across the board on all 3 models. Mid-20k for the base models and the highest end model (Lariat with Off-Road package) priced low-mid $40k to compete with Colorado ZR2 and Tacoma TRD Pro. The shootout comparisons are gonna be interesting to follow!
Just general parts that will fit it. I was looking around and there isn't one place I could find that was exclusive for Ranger Raptors. Could be different for other countries though. I would imagine Google gives me what is local first and then everything else. I didn't look that far into it.
We talking the 2019 model or the 2020?
I am not sure about your area but you can take a look on this site to get an idea for yourself: https://www.carid.com/2019-ford-ranger-accessories/
The 2011 model break down (since that was the last model in the US) is like this:
MPG: Up to 22 city / 27 highway
Towing capacity: 1,600 to 3,100 lbs
Bed length: 73.2″
Curb weight: 3,028 to 3,606 lbs
Payload: 1,272 to 1,790 lbs
And the 1999 model looks like this:
MPGe: Up to 67 city / 73...
Ah right. I would imagine it is able to do this. I get not wanting to invest in an old truck. It would likely be worth it more to invest in a new one that can handle your needs and have it for many years over a few more years.
Really digging grey paint on trucks these days. The flat look is nice as well. It isn't overly shiny. I tend to be put off by paint that looks like it has glitter thrown in it. My friend has a Hummer like that and it just makes it look cheap in my opinion.
The towing capacity of the 1994 one maxed out at 5760 pounds. I know because I had one for many years. It finally died out a few years ago. I would imagine it to be around 5000 or 6000 pounds. I have seen any statement on it to know for sure.
That's one long commercial. Cool to see so much effort made to advertise the Ranger.
Ford should put that feature in the marketing brochures - "Breaks up fights and saves lives." :)
