I disabled factory DSP and enabled the line outs so the amp would be getting an un-amplified, clean signal from the head unit. Let the amp do the work instead of the head unit. I cut the RCA connectors off the amp wiring harness and wired them up with the for-11ck adapter off Amazon.
When in S and manually shifting, to go back to auto-shift you don't have to move the lever back to D. Just hold either the + for about 2 seconds and it goes back to automatically shifting while remaining in S.
I've been using U3 with tow/haul mode: sport mode-ish throttle response, no auto-stop & sequential shifting like sport mode but it actually goes into overdrive instead of cruising at 2500-3000rpm.
My work truck came with LT Goodyear Kevlars. They got a little noisier as they got older but when our fleet department swapped them out at 50k, they still had 10/32 of tread and still gripped pretty well in the rain & light snow. I check gas meters in alleys and never got a single nail or glass...

Does anyone else have hiss with their Kicker Key? Nobody here has mentioned it as far as I can find, but it seems to be a common complaint on F-150 and Tacoma forums when I googled it. I have my gain...
So far, so good. No rattling or vibration. I was worried that I'd see too much of the grey inner rim but you don't notice it unless you're really looking for it. I saw a Fusion with them that had painted the center caps gloss black and the Ford script in blue. I might do that down the road.
My dad gave these to me, but I think he's colorblind. Red letters on a blue truck? Doesn't seem like it'll match very well. I've since gotten a set of matte black letters, so these are up for grabs.
FREE to the 1st person who wants them, just message me your name/address.
So I decided to give it a shot for $85 since a magnetic grey sport rim/tire deal fell thru. Got these: https://www.ebay.com/itm/193431943864
Overall, I'm pretty happy with them. They lock onto the center bore of the wheel, so no rattling. And no unbalanced shaking at highway speed.
This seems to be an annoying Android Auto glitch. For me, it works the first time I open the app and use it. After stopping at a rest area or gas station (turning vehicle off, leaving phone connected) the speed display does not come back, just the +/- button for zoom. I have the speedometer...
No, I don't know any Beckys. We've always flown down a couple time per year but have been driving down since Covid. It's so much nicer to have your own car on the property.
Yeah, I've done a few things with plastidip. Trouble is I'm too much of a perfectionist about it and with all the prep work, I may as well just buy the grey sport package wheels I want.

Does anyone have these? Looks like they just clip on. Any car I've driven with plastic hubcaps have always rattled going over railroad tracks, potholes...
I've noticed that having the climate set to "auto" uses the a/c pump to maintain constant temp even if the a/c button is not lit up. My mileage is noticeably worse if I have it on auto.
