Just to update the group, the Sentry CT did need an auxilary rail. They shipped it out FedEx along with 4 support brackets that are custom to the Ranger. I liked it before, but now it is super solid and appears to be reasonably water proof, very happy with the cover.

There is a connector, but I believe you need a harness to go from that connector to the back of the in bumper plug.

It's a few inches to the left of the ball mount, it is mounted to the underside of the bumper. It's hard to see unless you look under the bumper, it's set back a bit.
