  1. Snowmageddon in Texas

We’re finally thawing out around here.
  2. Snowmageddon in Texas

I don't live anywhere close to El Paso. That's about a 9-10 hour drive from me. The climate there is very different. We actually hit highs of 100+ degrees with 90-100% humidity regularly! And I was born and raised in Upstate NY. The Adirondacks were in my backyard at that time. I visit...
  3. Snowmageddon in Texas

I don’t care where you live. This is a challenge to drive on.
  4. Snowmageddon in Texas

Enjoy, you'll have far less chances to do that than our chances to sit back and eat popcorn when y'all complain about how hot 85 degrees is in July. You're no more accustomed to heat than we are the cold. BTW, many Texans travel to Colorado and other cold climates for ski trips. It's just...
  5. For the win, best looking Ranger yet.

A lot of us like the Raptor look but dislike the Raptor price!
  6. For the win, best looking Ranger yet.

That definitely wouldn't be my wheel and tire choice, but the quarter panels, front grille and lights look great! I'd also have to go with the smaller side mirrors rather than the bigger/tow looking mirrors.
  7. Snowmageddon in Texas

This is a photo op that will likely never happen again in my backyard. Yes, I was doing donuts!
  8. Blur license plate?

If I know your license plate, I know pretty much everything about you. In Texas, I even know how much you paid for the vehicle your license plate is mounted on because the sales price is included on the information. With your name, I can go to public sites that reveal your address, phone...
  9. 87 tune

I've heard people mention that a transmission needs to learn after getting a tune and never understood that statement. I've had half a dozen handheld tuners and also a handful of my autos have had dyne tunes and not one of the handheld tunes "learned" anything after miles of driving on said...
  10. Rangers in SNOW

Finally, Texans can contribute to this thread with their vast knowledge on the topic!
  11. 2020 Ranger FX4 “Rambo” Build Thread ( Lots of Pics! )

My tailgate falls harder than a Texan walking on ice (I've seen my fair share the past 72 hours)......and I like it that way (the tailgate that is)!
  12. 2020 Ranger FX4 “Rambo” Build Thread ( Lots of Pics! )

The blue line represents law enforcement. Google "thin blue line".
  13. 2020 Ranger FX4 “Rambo” Build Thread ( Lots of Pics! )

Oh come on man, simmer down. Forums aren't a place to take stuff personal. It's just light ribbing!
  14. LT285/70R17 Falken Wild Peak + Fuel Nitro D669 17x9 best combo?

Here's a good video and this guy has used a few options on his Ranger.
  15. Coyote 5.0 in a Ranger

I'd put Hennessey's name in the hat too. They've already done a V8 swap in a Gen2 Raptor, so most of the electronic issues have already been figured out with any swap on this magnitude.
  16. Which 1" Wheel Spacer Do You Recommend?

I've always had wheel spacer concerns like others this thread until I watched a very popular you tuber use an excessive amount of them stacked and I no longer have the same concerns. I don't use them, but just don't advocate as much against it now.
  17. LT285/70R17 Falken Wild Peak + Fuel Nitro D669 17x9 best combo?

I wouldn't do the spacers with that offset. If I recall correct, the reviews on the Kings are better than the Icons on that level suspension kit.
  18. 2020 Ranger FX4 “Rambo” Build Thread ( Lots of Pics! )

Did I click on the wrong link. This certainly doesn't seem like a build thread.
  19. No more engine cover for the Lariat

Depends how you look at it. I'm the type that will walk into a dealership and say "Soooo. 2021 model doesn't offer an engine cover, how much you gonna take off since the 2020 model sitting over there for the past few months has one?"
  20. No more engine cover for the Lariat

Opening the hood is so 1990's that I have high school kids working at the local oil change do it for me every 5k miles. Never intended on taking my Ranger to a car show and propping the hood up anyway. Kudos to Ford for finding a way how to save a couple bucks for us.
