I agree, Ford did not want the FOB inadvertently locked in the vehicle.
The Keypad method works, but don't leave the FOB in plain sight inside the locked vehicle or you may have a busted window when the cops recover your vehicle....;):)
This does not work for me. Yes, you can lock the FOB in the truck as you describe but the minute I pull on the door handle the truck unlocks.
The door will not unlock if the keypad was used to lock the truck -- the keypad will be required to unlock the truck - pulling on the door handle does...
The warning is indeed due to lane assist. The "warning" (NAG) will not occur with Lane Assist OFF. However, you can change the sensitivity setting in the vehicle or settings menu (I forget the exact path to change that setting but it's in there) - you can make it more tolerant of not gripping...
You can lock the FOB in the truck by using the external keypad (it will lock the doors, otherwise it's not possible to lock the doors with the FOB inside the vehicle).
Similar situation here. My download does not contain the 14G391-CM package.
The IVSU screen shows my current package as 5U5T-14G391-CL
So, I trust this will need to be updated as well.....how do I find that package?
Speed
It's slower to load but faster in use.
Improved VR.
The GUI is a bit different but overall I think there were notable improvements and I'm happy I updated to 3.4.
Next time you talk with with Service Writer ask him what he thinks of 'reloading the APIM AS-Built data'.
This is easily doable by the dealer and I'm pretty darn sure it will restore the climate screen.
I did not lose climate when loading 3.4 so I can't help you but I highly doubt you need to do any FORScan reset (I've not read where anyone needed to do that).
Map version will be incorrect. Sync 3.3 has a bug which did not update the map version. Sync 3.4 fixed that bug but can only read what 3.3 reports for map version and since it didn't get updated due to the bug it may not report the correct map version.. Sync 3.4 will report the correct map...
