Yeah, I'm looking forward to getting it but it won't be until April. UGH. If I ordered now I'm looking at a November delivery and a decent hike to the nearest dealer. Iffy weather and no need for it between Nov and April means I wait....(not my strong suit). I've already built a dolly for it and...
It's a ncie llooking rig...what it the weight of that camper? The Yoho I'm looking at comes in at just under 1100 Lbs.
I've not heard of the Timbrens but they seem very similar to the Sumo Springs (altho I have no idea which performs better) (more research).
Which add a leaf did you add and...
I'll be getting a Scout Yoho camper for my Lariat. I would be interested if you've done any suspension mods or added the Helwig sway bar. Did you consider Sumo Springs in lieu of the Firestone Airbags?
It's been a few months since you installed the Auto Springs and I wondered if you're still happy you went that route.
Question for you and others:
I have a '19 4x4 Lariat with a 1434Lb payload limit but I will be getting a Scout Yoho camper weighing in at 1100 Lbs. The camper isn't going to be...
I experimented some more and discovered a simple 4 conductor trailer wiring checker plugged into the 4 pin connector socket lights up the "Trailer connected" message and subsequently turns on 12V at pin 4 of the 7 Pin connector.
Given this is it's clear it does not take much current on either...
Yeah, I saw that and I know where that connector is. But I'm planning to get a Scout YoHo [truck bed] camper and it uses the 7 pin plug. And I like the way it turns off if not in gear. Makes for a more 'fool proof' setup and keeps my ride battery ready to go..
I have a 2019 Lariat and wanted to figure out a way to have the 12V Charge circuit [Pin 4] light up without a trailer connected (my camper has a battery I want to keep charged).
It turns out a 1A 12V lamp on the LT and Stop Lite connection [pin 5] will 'trick' the TRM into turning on the 12V...
I'm still looking for a travel trailer but I wanted to get my truck ready.
I think the issue you had with the Surveyor might be addressed on the Redarc site (I seem to recall they had a resistor fix for something like that - it's dependent of the type of brake system the trailer uses.
I tested...
Just to follow up I completed the Ford Brake Controller install. I took my time and broke up the install into 3 parts. First part was installing the Control switch which I mounted near the shifter. I spent the better part of the next afternoon routing the wire to the CHMSL. Instructions are very...
I read earlier posts on how to find the CHMSL signal behind the fuse panel. Seems like it would be easier to tap into that rather than run the wires back to the light. But The Lumen module is evidently filtering the CHMSL signal so I'll do the full Ford Install....ugh...not looking forward to...
I updated sync via USB and the xml file was on the card. When I went to upload it to Ford I found out it was not necessary - they already showed my Sync as having been updated. The vehicle had to communicate this because I sure didn't...(and an hour before it showed I needed an update, so Ford...
Good question, I was not happy.
UofMEngineer did mention that it seems to depend on the flash card. I used a fast Samsung USB 3.1 128GB flash card so I wasn't expecting it would take 2 hours...which card did you use?
I finally got around to a Master Reset.....it worked...and I've verified voices commands work....:) :)
Thanks again to UofMEngineer for the link and for the help!
