After running dedicated snows on previous cars and first gen tacoma, i’ve elected to use duratracs year round 255/75R17 plus winter weight.

This. The whistle is the sound of compression. I’d never put a cone filter on a vehicle intended for off roading, though. Dust nightmare. A snorkel can make the turbo whistle more evident by relocating the inlet to the area outside your passenger window.

I would block the winch with a flip bracket, but i bought an xl without radar on purpose.

Are you sure you don’t have skid plates? above is my xl trim 4x4. The only one it doesn’t have is under the transfer case, which i think is a bit frivolous anyhow considering the TC sits within the frame rails. A new set of tires can add an inch of ground clearance and a mile of confidence...

the lighter fits loosely at the rear, and tightly in the front. Lighter dimensions are 5/8ths thick and one inch wide. cheeers
