I spent 20+years formulating engine oil additive systems for diesel trucks. I would not recommend use of any aftermarket oil additives. They will cause issues and likely just end up in the oil filter. Save your money and buy a good oil.
I’ve installed the Ford bed lights. The kit includes a harness that connected directly to the battery. You will need a step drill and know how to tighten rivnuts. It wasn’t too hard but it wasn’t trivial either. They work really well.
I installed two lights. The Ford Bedlights which are powered directly from the battery and a second light which is powered off the Wolfhaus power plug that I installed in the bed. Another solution would be to disable the auto shutoff on the bed power with Forscan.
