GAP is a tricky thing...I do carry it now thru my insurance carrier after we had an accident that was not our fault on a nearly new Escape about 5 years ago. It ends up being about $40 per car per year, I can live with that vs. the usually exorbitant amount the stealership wants for less...

I started running sam's club premium the first fall/winter because northern IL winter-blend was making it ping and hesitate a bit. Premium cleared it up so I've been running it ever since. It did take about 2-3 weeks to see the mpg increases.

Mine is a rock magnet and yes its super thin water-based paint...cant say im impressed with the coatings on ALL of the production vehicles I've seen lately..
