If the latest software had taken hold, your trans should be skipping, most of the time,
2nd gear, and most likely, 4th too. You can observer this buy pressing the left button on the shifter, reward, and it will bring up the current gear the transmission is in, on the center dash display...
Exactly!! It appears it is "crappy material" :curse:--Closely inspected mine again, and it does have a issue!!!! And it's not really "cold" here in Phoenix, on top of the fact I almost never use it-

was 85 degrees here today in Phoenix, and I leave my Start/Stop on--engine restarts/shutsdown with A/c need/Temp automatically, but my system is just the "basic" being a XLT version. Have not had any issues so far on cooling level--does sound as tho your "fan" wasn't engaging/cooling
Gone are the days, of changing it out in the driveway, with a buddy, and a length of nylon rope!!!

Yours is a 4x4??? My truck is 4x2 I also found the mileage increased, when I added the Composite Tonnueau Cover--Weighs about 80 lbs, but the fuel mileage went up about 20%- Big surprise!! :clap: And I just bought it for added security!!
As diagnosed earlier in this thread, I am getting 25 MPG in the city/30 on hwy, have verified no increase in crankcase level, and never shut off my auto start/stop feature, with the majority of our travels within the city. Total mileage now at 9300, purchased in Aug, and third oil change done...
Check the brake lights, see if they are on/engine running, without applying brakes-- Brake petal switches usually, have input to this system, for cancellation feature. :)
