My work truck kept shutting off for water in the fuel, I drained the filter and kept resetting it. Roadside repair changed all the filters and put 4 times the amount of additive needed to treat the fuel for water and it still wouldn't run. I ended up in a hotel till another driver picked me up...
So this is thing now. Happened to me last week.
I wonder if this type of thing will become more normal? Tow trucks are making people stay in the towed vehicles even though it's illegal.
Only worked 2 days this week but they paid me to stay home the other days. My company has "bullpen" pay, it's not much but at least it's something. I drive for a living so I pretty much hate driving anyways.
If they looked more like the old Ridgeline but had all the modern comforts and conveniences we would've considered one. She loves Honda, she cried when we traded her old Civic lol. That car was amazing, 13 years old and completely rock solid the whole time since new.
My brother's wife made him get 2 labradoodles. They've been fantastic dogs and they have no regrets. Some issues with skin conditions but medication clears it up.
I had a Ram salesman tell me that his manager told them to say that ALL Ram 1500 trucks could tow 11,000lbs...none of them could back then and some V6 Rams towed less than our Ranger does.
My truck keeps going into limp mode no matter if I use the 87 or 91 tunes. I use 93 octane gas just to be safe on both tunes. I don't know what the deal is.
As far as I know you're right, there's only 2 tuners for the Ranger now. I have an SCT but I've had issues with the tunes it comes with and I've set my truck back to stock for now.
I'm a truck driver so I thought I'd be pretty well insulated from all this...but they closed Kohl's and now our drivers from their account are working on our account (Staples) and things are getting tight. I have a good relationship with my boss and she's really taking care of me for now...
I don't have a tune from them and right now money is tight after spending thousands of dollars on my house. It's gonna have to stay stock till other priorities are covered.
I ran mine stock for a week or so and then put the SCT 87 octane tune in and it didn't last a day. It went into limp mode until I put the stock tune in again. I have a drop in air filter and a muffler delete, I wouldn't think they would affect it that much but that might be it.
I deliver office supplies to 4-6 stores a day in MD,VA,PA,NJ, and DE. Lately it's just office chairs, toilet paper, paper towels, water, tissues, copy paper, clorox wipes, hand sanitizer, and laptops. Normally they stock thousands of items, but now it's just essentials and tax stuff lol...
Yesterday coming home from work my truck started hesitating and lost power. It popped up warnings for the pre collision system not functioning and sent this to my phone. As soon as I limped it home I reset everything to the factory tune and it's been fine since. I was running the SCT 91 octane...
I have a 2 inch level and 265/70/17 Nitto Terra Grapplers and they aren't known for their wet traction. The rear steps out pretty easy but the electronic nannies keep it from coming around on me.
I've been running their 91 octane tune with 93 gas for about 1000 miles (a few weeks) now and I love it. I know it's not that fast but it's silly how quick it feels. Cheap easy performance and so far completely trouble free and believe me, I've beat the hell out of it lol.
I do too, it's totally different from everything else and a deeper tone than I thought it would be. Sometimes at lower rpms while decelerating I get some low burbles and a lil rumble.
