It's almost like I need to be able to interrupt the boot path like you can in Windows, by directing the BIOS to look to an alternate source (USB drive, Blu-Ray Drive, etc.) for an OS (or in this case, an update).
Thank you for your continued assistance and your question. I mean that 4U5T-14G422-CAH_1625428946000.TAR.GZ has already been downloaded, so theoretically, turning WiFi off should have no impact. Also, because Sync has not completed installing this file (based on what I see on the progress bar...
I can't thank all of you enough for your suggestions...but here I sit...third day of failure. Here's what I've tried: What UofMEngineer & SymChris suggested (turning off automatic updates). What AlCohenUSA suggested above (hard reboot via battery disconnect & verify a good WiFi connection)...
Thanks, Alan -- I kind of wondered about that myself. Before I try it, can anyone let me know the implications of a battery disconnect (e.g., what other systems will be impacted, what else I may have to reset, etc.)?
Much appreciated. I believe I may have tried that, along with turning off WiFi. The problem, I think, is that in the screen I posted above, the hang up appears to be in the installation of the file, as if it has already been downloaded.
Yeah...that's my absolute last resort...I just don't want to go through readjusting all of the preferences that I assume a master reset will wipe away.
I've been looking at the screen below for the last two days.
Also, based on a post I read in this thread, I changed the connection from my 5.0 wireless network to my 2.4 wireless network. My garage shares a common wall with my office, which is where my wireless router is based, so I know the...
Thank you for the feedback. I was wondering, since I didn't take advantage of the 119 NA map update, was I entitled to one free geographic upgrade, the 220? In any event, I was able to download the latest NA map upgrade (within the last couple of days) to a USB. Problem is, SYNC won't begin...
Thanks for the feedback, brother. I'd love to be able to restart anything at any part of the process. Problem is, I don't know how to interrupt/stop this (apparently failed) attempt to install 4U5T-14G422-CAH_1625428946000.TAR.GZ which is what I believe is creating the log jam. Thoughts, anyone?
Hello, all -- Just so you know, I did read the previous posts on all 24 pages of this thread, so if I missed something, please be gentle. At the risk of being redundant, I own a 2019 Lariat 4X4 with nav. I am running SYNC3 3.4.21020 and nav maps NA 118. While attempting to upgrade via USB to...
Right on. If I am reading the Control Freak Suspension website correctly, it appears that it will take nearly $4,500 to lower both the front and rear and it will only work on 2WD Rangers. If this is indeed the case, hard pass. I continue to seek the elusive $1,000 or so solution that will...
So, am I interpreting the Control Freak Suspension website correctly? It's nearly $4,500 to lower both the front and rear and it only works on 2WD models? If so, hard pass.
So you mentioned you were working on getting her blacked out. Does that mean you are looking for a wheel with a complete magnetic finish? My 18" wheels have a machined face with magnetic pockets.
If you're still interested and would be willing to PM me your address, I'd be willing to research...
I have a set of 4 coming off my 2019 Lariat tomorrow, but I live in a suburb of Minneapolis, so I don't know how that would impact your interest. They only have 2,800 miles on them, so they are basically in factory new condition. Let me know...
