Ford updated their Oil to have it already.
I just hit 20k too. Haven't had a fuel in oil problem yet. Got a air oil separator from Ford just recently. The lights are okay not great. And the B&O isn't really worth it. But those are just my opinions. But it's been pretty good so far though.
I blew up 2 while in Saudi. They were actually sitting in a boneyard since the first Gulf War. That was 5 years in the heat just to be murdered by a 19 yo. I was trying to drift them around traffic circles (not paved, they were dirt/sand roads) like Sega Rally.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Yeah your situation is on the extreme side of heat. I don't know if your last one came with the heat shield sticker like the U3000 comes with. I'm actually surprised you haven't had any issues with that camera on your truck. That sucker gets super hot as well. I guess that's why the plastic...
So I'm on my 3rd dash cam in my truck. I started with the Blackvue 900s. Then switched to the VIOFO A139 pro 3 channel. And now the new Thinkware U3000 2 Ch.
Had all 3 hardwired to Blackvue external battery with expansion battery located under rear passenger seat. So I never ran into the risk...
There's an old trick using a empty 2 liter or 1 litter coke bottle. Cut the end off and big enough slot for your hand and leave the cap on the bottle. Loosen the filter enough but not all the way. Take the coke bottle and put over the filter with the opening up. Now undo the filter through the...
I would go the Tremor route.
They switched their install method by doing the LCA way instead. Noticed it on their Bronco upgrade video. I also came across a Aussie 4x4 shop doing the LCA way as well on YouTube.
But as for the vote which you should get. I'll say Tremor. Mainly because you'll...
Oh, and be prepared whenever someone jumps in your truck to start flipping switches. Happened during an oil change and my dashcam caught the conversation. They both agreed it was kinda cool though.
I kinda wished there was a valet mode.
So far I use mine for my raptor lights (will soon be getting rid of), and ditch lights (one for amber backlight, the other for the main LEDs). I did it that way so I can have everything off if I want.
I have some more lights (ARB Solis driving lights) that I'm going to install and a winch as...
Dent on the hood. Hood not aligned on driver's side. Small paint chip on driver's door handle. And the trim around the windows were a pain for my tint guy. Lucky for me he's a perfectionist.
Oh, that black sticker between the front door and rear. There's some small air bubbles underneath. Found...
Save yourself some money and smash the other one so they match. Then wait for someone to ask where you got them from because they like them. Offer a straight up trade. Bam money saved!
They honestly look like those altezza lights that were the rage with the import crowd years back.
Yes. It's a pain to remove and install the bottom fitting. I would definitely disconnect the battery since your hand will be near the fan during install.
